«Ես միշտ անկեղծ եմ եղել ձեզ հետ։ Ես հավատում եմ այս թիմին։ Կարծում եմ, որ այս թիմն ունի ամեն ինչ՝ Աշխարհի գավաթի ուղեգիր նվաճելու համար։ Գուցե այս պահին խմբի ֆավորիտը չենք, բայց վաղվա հաղթանակը կարող է փոխել այդ պատկերացումը։ Եվ ես վստահ եմ, որ մենք դա կանենք։
Եթե տեսել եք Հայաստանի վերջին հանդիպումը Հունգարիայի դեմ, ապա գիտեք՝ նրանք ուժեղ թիմ են։ Հունգարիան պարզապես հաջողակ էր, որ հաղթեց նույնիսկ 2։0 հաշվով։ Հայաստանը շատ լավ հնարավորություններ ուներ օգտագործելու և կարող էր պատժել մրցակցին։ Դա իսկապես լավ թիմ է, և այստեղ ոչ ոք չպետք է թերագնահատի նրանց։
Նրանց դեմ պետք է սկսել ճիշտ ձևով՝ կոշտ, միասնական, ինչպես Պորտուգալիայի դեմ խաղում։ Մենք գիտակցում ենք, որ վաղը մեր վրա մեծ ճնշում է լինելու։ Պետք է ընդունենք դա՝ որպես խաղի մի մասը։ Այո, ճնշում կլինի՝ հաղթելու պարտականության պատճառով, բայց դա պարտադիր չէ, որ լինի հենց առաջին րոպեից։ Պետք է խելացի խաղանք այս թիմի դեմ, որովհետև եթե խելացի չլինենք, նրանք կարող են մեզ պատժել, ինչպես արեցին Երևանում»,-Հալգրիմսոնի խոսքն է մեջբերոյմ RTE-ն։
