Վանի լքված հայկական եկեղեցին՝ Թուրքիայի մեջլիսի օրակարգում

Ընդդիմադիր «Ժողովուրդների հավասարության և ժողովրդավարության» (DEM) կուսակցության պատգամավոր տկն Գյուլջան Քաչմազը Վանի հայկական Վարագ Սուրբ Խաչ եկեղեցու հարցով դիմել է Թուրքիայի խորհրդարան (մեջլիս)։ Պատգամավորը ահազանգում է, որ եկեղեցու գմբեթը փլուզված է, իսկ պատերի որմնանկարներն ու արձանագրությունները՝ վնասված։
Պատգամավորը մասնավորապես նշել է, որ Վանը ծառայել է բազմաթիվ քաղաքակրթությունների մայրաքաղաք՝ Ուրարտուից մինչև մեր օրեր։ Դամբարանները, եկեղեցիներն ու բազմաթիվ պատմական կառույցները քաղաքի մշակությաին ժառանգության մասն են կազմում ու կարևոր են նաև հավատքի ու մշակութային զբոսաշրջության տեսանկյունից։ Ըստ պատգամավորի՝ անհրաժեշտ է ձեռնարկել անհրաժեշտ միջոցներ, որպեսզի դրանք չքանդվեն։
«Տեղյա՞կ եք Վանի նահանգի Իփեքյոլու շրջանում գտնվող հայկական Վարագ Սուրբ Խաչ եկեղեցու կրած վնասների մասին: Ինչո՞ւ չի կանխվում վանքի հետագա փլուզումը: Կա՞ն արդյոք որևէ կարգադրություն հայկական եկեղեցու պահպանության մասով։ Եթե այո, ապա այդ դեպքում ինչո՞ւ չեն ձեռնարկվում անհրաժեշտ միջոցները»,- հարցադրում է արել պատգամավոր Քաչմազը՝ ակնկալելով պատասխան ստանալ Թուրքիայի մշակույթի և զբոսաշրջության նախարար Մեհմեթ Նուրի Էրսոյից։
Նշենք, որ հայկական Վարագ Սուրբ Խաչ եկեղեցին կառուցվել է 8-րդ դարում։ Տեղացիների շրջանում հայտնի է «Yedi kilise» (Յոթ եկեղեցի) անվամբ։
