Սամվել Կարապետյանի դեմ կառավարության տապալման կոչ անելու մեղադրանքը որևէ հավաստիություն չի ներշնչում, իսկ փողերի լվացման մեղադրանքի հարցում իշխանությունները փորձում են փչացնել Կարապետյանի վարկանիշը, քանի որ վախենում են առաջիկա ընտրությունների արդյունքներից։ Այս մասին հոկտեմբերի 14-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ հայտարարել է հայտնի իրավաբան Ռոբերտ Ամստերդամը։

«ՀՀ կառավարությունն իրեն ավելի վատ է պահում, քան ամենահետամնաց աֆրիկյան երկրները։ Անհասկանալի է, թե ինչի է այն փորձում հասնել, բայց այն պետք է դադարեցնի նման պահվածքը՝ հանուն ԵՄ անդամակցության և Ադրբեջանից հայ պատանդների ազատման նպատակի։ Մարդկանց հետապնդում են Հայաստանում՝ քրիստոնեական դավանանքի համար, մի երկրում, որը պետական մակարդակով Քրիստոսի առաջին տունն է։

Փաշինյանը խղճահարություն է առաջացնում, կարծում եմ՝ նա ենթարկվում է վախին։ Նա հարձակումներ է գործում Եկեղեցու վրա, որը հայկական ինքնության ողնաշարն է և դա նրա նկատմամբ խղճահարություն է առաջացնում», - նշել է փաստաբանը։

Նրա գնահատմամբ՝ կառավարությունները սովորաբար դադարեցնում են նման գործերը, երբ դրանք իրենց համար անշահավետ են դառնում կամ երբ դրանց դեմ են հանդես գալիս այդ կառավարության անդամները։

«Գործն ունի ակնհայտ քաղաքական բնույթ։ Հենց որ Կարապետյանը դուր չեկավ վարչապետին, մեր պաշտպանյալը դարձավ հեղափոխական և փողերի լվացման հանցագործության մասնակից։ Մենք պետք է դրան հակազդենք իրավական դաշտում։ Փաշինյանը շատ է վախեցած, ինչի մասին են վկայում ներկայացված մեղադրանքները։

Մենք պատրաստվում ենք նաև ամենօրյա քաղաքական հարձակումներ իրականացնել Փաշինյանի նկատմամբ։ Մենք կանգ չենք առնի, քանի դեռ նա քաղբանտարկյալներին գերության մեջ է պահում, մենք կխոսենք այդ մասին։ Հայաստանում Կարապետյանի դեմ հարուցված գործից ավելի հրատապ բան չկա, բացի Ադրբեջանից հայ պատանդների ազատման հարցը», - ընդգծել է Ամստերդամը։
