Ֆուտբոլի Հայաստանի հավաքականի լեգենդար դարպասապահ և նախկին ավագ Ռոման Բերեզովսկին ընտրվել է Հայաստանի ռուսական համայնքի ղեկավար։ Այս մասին հայտնում է «Հայաստանի ռուսական համայնք» կազմակերպության տեղեկատվական ռեսուրսը։

Ինչպես Sputnik Արմենիային հայտնել է անձամբ Բերեզովսկին, նա ընդունել է Հայաստանի ռուսական համայնքի խորհրդի առաջարկը՝ գլխավորելու այս կազմակերպությունը, քանի որ ցանկանում է իր փորձը կիրառել հասարակական ոլորտում։

«Թիմային ոգին միշտ եղել է իմ կյանքի մի մասը։ Տարիների ընթացքում ես հասկացել եմ. կարևորը  ոչ միայն դաշտում խաղալն է, այլև դրանից դուրս գործելը՝ հանուն հասարակության, հանուն գործի։ Այսօր ես հավատում եմ, որ դա իրական օգուտ կբերի»,- ասել է նա։

Իր հիմնական առաքելությունը նոր պաշտոնում Ռոմանը համարում է Հայաստանի և հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների համակողմանի ամրապնդումը, որոնք, ըստ նրա, այսօր ձևավորվում են նոր պատմական իրողություններում։

«Ես ոչ մեկ տարի եմ ազգային հավաքականը դաշտ դուրս բերել ավագի թևկապով։ Ինձ համար միշտ կարևոր է եղել արդարացնել երկրպագուների վստահությունը՝ այնպես խաղալ, որ կասկածներ չլինեն. մեզանից յուրաքանչյուրն իրեն ամբողջությամբ նվիրել է խաղին։ Այսօր էլ պատասխանատվությունը պակաս չէ»,- հավելել է նա։

Ըստ Բերեզովսկու, Հայաստանը իրեն տվել է այն, ինչ ցանկացել է, և նա ուրախ կլինի օգտակար լինել նոր կարգավիճակում։

Ռոման Բերեզովսկին Հայաստանի հավաքականում իր նորամուտը նշել է 1996 թվականի օգոստոսի 31-ին՝ Պորտուգալիայի հետ խաղում։ Ազգային թիմի կազմում նա ընդհանուր առմամբ անցկացրել է 94 հանդիպում։
