Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի աշխատակազմում հոկտեմբերի 20-ին զանգվածային լրատվության միջոցների և սոցիալական մեդիայի մշտադիտարկման արդյունքում ստացվել է տեղեկություն այն մասին, որ Գյումրու քաղաքապետարանի դիմաց իրավիճակը շարունակում է մնալ խիստ լարված։
Հրապարակումներ են շրջանառվել առ այն, որ քաղաքացիների նկատմամբ կիրառվել է առերևույթ անհամաչափ ուժ, մի խումբ անձինք տեղափոխվել են Ոստիկանության բաժին:
Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի հանձնարարությամբ Շիրակի մարզային ստորաբաժանման ներկայացուցիչը տվյալ պահին այց է իրականացնում Ոստիկանության համապատասխան բաժին՝ ազատությունից զրկված անձանց իրավունքների ապահովման վիճակին տեղում ծանոթանալու նպատակով:
Բացի այդ՝ մշտադիտարկման արդյունքում տեղեկություններ են ստացվել այն մասին, որ ստեղծված իրավիճակի հետևանքով չի ապահովվել համայնքում գործող մի շարք մանկապարտեզների բնականոն աշխատանքը, ինչն իր ազդեցությունն է ունեցել երեխաների նախադպրցական կրթության իրավունքի վրա:
Պաշտպանը ևս մեկ անգամ ընդգծում է, որ նշված և ցանկացած այլ գործընթացներում անհրաժեշտ է առաջնորդվել բացառապես երեխայի լավագույն շահի ապահովման սկզբունքով:
Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանը ներկայումս ուսումնասիրում է շրջանառվող բոլոր տեղեկությունները՝ իր մանդատի շրջանակներում համապատասխան արձագանք ապահովելու նպատակով։
