Ազգային ժողովի «Ժառանգություն» խմբակցության քարտուղար Թևան Պողոսյանը Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանին կընտրի` հաշվի առնելով թեկնածուների ներկայացրած ծրագրային դրույթները: Լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանը պատգամավորը նկատեց, որ հաջորդ ՄԻՊ-ից ակնկալում է ոլորտում համակարգային փոփոխությունների տեսլական: «Քանի դեռ իրենց ծրագրերը չեն ներկայացրել թեկնածուները, դժվար է գնահատել` ով շանս ունի, ով չունի: Կլինի բաց քննարկում, պայքարն Ազգային ժողովում կծավալվի: Երեք թեկնածուներն էլ պետք է ուսումնասիրած լինեն նախկին պաշտպանների աշխատանքները, կատարած սխալները, մոտեցումները, որպեսզի դրանք ուղղեն»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` ասաց Թևան Պողոսյանը:

Պատգամավորը նաև նշեց, որ ՄԻՊ-ի իր նախընտրելի թեկնածուն հանրային սեկտորից է, ով առաջադրված չէ: «Իմ թեկնածուն Արտակ Կիրակոսյանն է «Քաղաքացիական հասարակության զարգացման ինստիտուտ»-ի նախագահը: Իմ կարծիքով` նա այն մարդն է, ով ունի համակարգային մոտեցման տեսլական: Իր բոլոր կապերով, մոտեցումներով, միջազգային կապերով, նվիրվածությամբ, կարող էր օգտակար լինել»,-ավելացրեց պատգամավորը:

Հարցին ի պատասխան, թե ինչու հենց «Ժառանգություն» խմբակցությունը ԱԺ Պետաիրավական հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովին չառաջադրեց Զարուհի Փոստանջյանի թեկնածությունը` Թևան Պողոսյանը նկատեց. «Պետաիրավական հարցերի հանձնաժողովում Զարուհի Փոստանջյանն է ներկայացնում «Ժառանգություն» խմբակցությունը, դա պետք է լիներ ինքնառաջադրում, այս դեպքում համաձայնություն է եղել, որ այլ մարդիկ դա անեն, զուտ տեխնիկական հարց է»:

Փետրվարի 9-ին, երբ լրանում էր ԱԺ Պետաիրավական հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողով ՄԻՊ թեկնածուների առաջադրման ժամկետը, խմբակցությունները երեք թեկնածու են առաջադրել: ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Հովհաննես Սահակյանը առաջարկել է Արմեն Թաթոյանի, անկախ պատգամավոր Էդմոն Մարուքյանը և ՕԵԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Հովհաննես Մարգարյանը` Զարուհի Փոստանջյանի, իսկ ԲՀԿ-ն ներկայացնող Տիգրան Ուրիխանյանը` Նարեկ Ալոյանի թեկնածությունը:
