Գործարար, բարերար Սամվել Կարապետյանի պաշտպանության թիմը հայտարարություն է տարածել, անդրադառնալով Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Նաչո Սանչես Ամորիի հնչեցրած հայտարարությանը։ Iravaban.net-ը տեղեկանում է Սամվել Կարապետյանի էջում տեղադրված հայտարարությունից։
 
«Սամվել Կարապետյանի պաշտպանության խորհուրդը ողջունում է սույն թվականի հոկտեմբերի 28-ին, Եվրանեսթ խորհրդարանի խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի 12-րդ լիագումար նստաշրջանի ընթացքում քաղաքական, մարդու իրավունքների և ժողովրդավարության հարցերի հանձնաժողովի երևանյան նիստում Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավոր Նաչո Սանչես Ամորիի հնչեցրած այն հայտարարությունները, որոնք ընդգծում են ժողովրդավարության, մարդու իրավունքների և հիմնարար ազատությունների պաշտպանության անհրաժեշտությունը և խախտումները Հայաստանում:

Խոսքի ազատությունը, խաղաղ հավաքների իրավունքը և քաղաքական բազմակարծությունը ժողովրդավարության հիմնասյուներն են և չեն կարող սահմանափակվել քրեական հետապնդումների, իշխանության չարաշահման կամ ընտրովի արդարադատության միջոցով:

Եվրոպացի գործընկերների ուշադրությանն ենք հրավիրում ազգային բարերար Սամվել Կարապետյանի շարունակական ակնհայտ հակաիրավական կալանքի վրա, ով արդեն ավելի քան 130 օր գտնվում է ապօրինի ազատազրկման մեջ՝ միջին ծանրության հանցագործության աբսուրդային մեղադրանքով, առանց արդար դատավարության և թափանցիկ իրավական երաշխիքների ապահովման։

Նույն մտահոգությունը վերաբերում է նաև «Մեր ձևով» շարժման ներկայացուցիչ, փաստաբան Ռուբեն Մխիթարյանի՝ Գյումրիում իրականացված ապօրինի ձերբակալությանը և դրան հաջորդած կալանքին, որոնք վկայում են ակնհայտ քաղաքական շարժառիթներով պայմանավորված քրեական հետապնդումների վտանգավոր միտման մասին։

Ցնցող բնույթ է կրում նաև նախկինում երբևէ չարատավորված երեք հանրային հեղինակություն վայելող Սրբազանների տևական և անհիմն կալանքները:

Այսպիսի գործողությունները հակասում են Հայաստանի Հանրապետության՝ միջազգային համընդհանուր բնույթ կրող պարտավորություններին՝ մասնավորապես արդար դատավարության իրավունքի (ՄԻԵԿ 6-րդ հոդված), ազատության և անձնական անձեռնմխելիության (ՄԻԵԿ 5-րդ հոդված), ինչպես նաև արտահայտվելու և հավաքների ազատության (ՄԻԵԿ 10-րդ և 11-րդ հոդվածներ) ոլորտներում։

Իրական եվրոպական ինտեգրումը սկսվում է ոչ թե Բրյուսելում, այլ հենց այստեղ՝ Հայաստանում, որտեղ պետք է ապահովվի յուրաքանչյուր քաղաքացու խոսքի ազատությունը, արժանապատվությունը և իրավունքների պաշտպանությունը»,- նշված է հայտարարության մեջ։
