Հայաստանի ազգային սեյսմիկ ցանցը միացել է Թվային սեյսմոգրաֆների ցանցերի միջազգային ֆեդերացիայի հարթակին

ՆԳՆ Սեյսմիկ պաշտպանության տարածքային ծառայության սեյսմոլոգիական ցանցը միացել է Թվային սեյսմոգրաֆների ցանցերի միջազգային ֆեդերացիայի (FDSN) հարթակին՝ ստանալով լիիրավ անդամի կարգավիճակ և ընդգրկվելով պաշտոնական ցուցակում։ Այն հանդես է գալիս 6 սեյսմիկ կայաններով՝ Հայաստանի ազգային սեյսմիկ ցանց անվանումով։
Հայաստանի ազգային սեյսմիկ ցանցը գրանցում և վերլուծում է տեղային, տարածաշրջանային և հեռավոր ուժեղ սեյսմիկ իրադարձությունները:
Վեց սեյսմիկ կայանները գրանցում են սեյսմիկ ալիքների հորիզոնական և ուղղահայաց բաղադրիչները, իրականացնում են տվյալների շարունակական փոխանցում ՝ապահովելով իրական ժամանակում սեյսմիկ դիտարկումների հասանելիություն միջազգային գիտական հարթակներում։
FDSN համակարգ սեյսմոլոգիական ցանցի ընդգրկումը երաշխավորում է սեյսմիկ տվյալների միջազգային ճանաչումն ու երկարաժամկետ պահպանումը։
Միջազգային հարթակին անդամակցությունը խթանում է Հայաստանի գլոբալ գիտական ինտեգրմանը, քանի որ սեյսմիկ դիտարկումները դառնում են համաշխարհային սեյսմիկ տվյալների բազայի մաս։ Տեխնիկական և գիտական համագործակցության տեսանկյունից՝ այն հնարավորություն կտա կիրառել Թվային սեյսմոգրաֆների ցանցերի միջազգային ֆեդերացիայի մշակած չափորոշիչներն ու գործիքները, ինչպես նաև հասանելիություն ստանալ այլ երկրների սեյսմիկ տվյալների բազաներին։
