Մշակույթը որպես ինքնության շունչ․ արվեստը դառնում ժողովրդի հիշողությունը

Մշակույթը ցանկացած ժողովրդի ամենախոր արմատն է․ այն ոչ միայն արվեստի, երաժշտության կամ գրականության հավաքածու է, այլև՝ մտածողության ու կյանքի ձև։ Այս օրերին, երբ աշխարհը ավելի արագ է փոխվում, քան երբևէ, մշակույթը մնում է միակ ոլորտը, որը կապում է անցյալն ու ապագան։
Արվեստը՝ որպես ազգային դիմագիծ
Արվեստը պատմում է այն, ինչ քաղաքականությունը չի կարող ասել։
Հայկական մշակույթը՝ իր հնագույն ձեռագրերից մինչև ժամանակակից թատրոն, շարունակում է կրել նույն հիմնական ուղերձը՝ մարդկայնություն, դիմադրություն և հիշողություն։
Սակայն, ինչպես նշում են արվեստաբանները, այսօր մշակույթի դերը հաճախ մնում է անտեսված․ ֆինանսավորումը քիչ է, երիտասարդները հեռանում են արվեստից, իսկ սոցցանցերի արագությունն արհեստականորեն կրճատում է ստեղծագործական խորությունը։
Ժամանակակից մշակույթը՝ կամուրջ սերունդների միջև
Նոր սերունդը փոխում է արվեստը՝ իր ձևով։ Դիջիթալ արվեստը, գրականության նոր ձևաչափերը հնարավորություն են տալիս պահպանել ավանդույթը, բայց այլ լեզվով խոսել դրա մասին։
Մշակութային հիշողությունը՝ որպես պետության ուժ
Ժողովուրդը, որը կորցնում է իր մշակութային հիշողությունը, աստիճանաբար կորցնում է նաև ինքնությունը։ Այդ պատճառով ազգային մշակութային ժառանգությունը պահպանելը պարզապես գեղագիտական խնդիր չէ, այլ՝ պետական առաջնահերթություն։ Արժե հիշել, որ յուրաքանչյուր հուշարձան, ձեռագիր կամ երգ մի փոքր պատմություն է՝ այն մասին, թե ով ենք եղել մենք և ուր կարող ենք գնալ։
Մշակույթը բուժում է հոգին
Վերջին տարիներին հոգեբաններն էլ են խոսում մշակույթի բուժիչ ազդեցության մասին․ թատրոն գնալը, գիրք կարդալը կամ թանգարան այցելելը նվազեցնում են լարվածությունն ու բարելավում ընդհանուր հոգեվիճակը։
Այդ պատճառով մշակույթը ոչ միայն ինքնության, այլև հոգեկան առողջության կարևոր բաղադրիչն է։
Մշակույթը ժողովրդի իրական լեզուն է։ Երբ տնտեսական, քաղաքական կամ սոցիալական համակարգերը փոխվում են, միայն մշակույթն է, որ շարունակում է պատմել՝ ով ենք մենք եղել, ինչ ենք ապրել և ինչ կարող ենք դառնալ։
Այն պահպանում է հիշողությունը, կերտում ինքնությունը և հիշեցնում՝ արժեքներն սկսվում են հոգուց, ոչ թե շուկայից։
