Այն բանից հետո, երբ պատին կպցրած բանանը աճուրդում վաճառվեց 6 միլիոն դոլարով, իտալացի սադրիչ Մաուրիցիո Կատելանը պատրաստվում է կրկին ցնցել արվեստի աշխարհը: Այս անգամ աճուրդի կհանվի ավելի քան 100 կգ քաշ ունեցող՝ ամբողջությամբ ոսկե զուգարանակոնքը, հաղորդում է Artnews-ը։
Շքեղ՝ 18 կարատանոց «ոսկե գահը» կհայտնվի Նյու Յորքի Sotheby's-ի աճուրդում նոյեմբերի 18-ին՝ «Ներկա և ժամանակակից» երեկոյի շրջանակներում: Սկզբնական գինը 10 միլիոն դոլար է, բայց մասնագետները վստահ են, որ գնորդը պատրաստ կլինի էլ ավելի շատ վճարել։
Այս ոսկե զուգարանակոնքը, որը Կատելանը անվանել է «Ամերիկա», մտահղացվել է որպես սոցիալական սադրանք. նկարիչը ցանկանում էր ուսումնասիրել, թե ինչն է համարվում սրբազան և ինչն է անարգ արվեստի աշխարհում։
Նոյեմբերի 8-ից սկսած՝ բոլորը կկարողանան դիտել փայլուն «գահը», որը կտեղադրվի Sotheby's-ի նոր գլխավոր գրասենյակի՝ Բրոյեր շենքում գտնվող լոգարանում: Սակայն դուք չեք կարողանա նստել ոսկե նստատեղին. այն այժմ բացառապես արվեստի առարկա է։
Սա առաջին անգամը չէ, որ Կատելանը խաղում է հակադրություններով. նրա «Կատակերգական» բանանը՝ շոտլանդական ժապավենի վրա, իսկական մեմ դարձավ 2019 թվականին՝ վաճառվելով գրեթե չորս անգամ ավելի թանկ, քան պահանջվող գինը։ Ավելի քան 100,000 այցելու հերթ էր կանգնել՝ տեսնելու «մրգային» արվեստի գործը, ոմանք նույնիսկ նկարագրել են դրան դիպչելու զգացողությունը որպես «իրենց կյանքի ամենաշքեղ հույզերից մեկը»։
Նույնիսկ Բլենհայմի պալատում ցուցադրվելիս զուգարանակոնքը մեծ իրարանցում է առաջացրել, այդ թվում՝ համարձակ կողոպուտից հետո, որի ժամանակ երեք գողեր փորձեցին գողանալ այն, ինչը ջրհեղեղ առաջացրեց պատմական առանձնատանը։
