Բոլորս գոնե մեկ անգամ լսած կլինենք «Իրար սիրելու համար պետք է տարբեր լինել» բազմաչարչար միտքը: Իհարկե, այն շատ ռոմանտիկ է հնչում, բայց հոգեբաններն ու սոցիոլոգները այլ բան են ասում: Բազմաթիվ ուսումնասիրությունների ու հետազոտությունների արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ իրարից տարբեր զույգերի մոտ 90 %-ը միասին չեն կարողանում մնալ: Միմյանց նման ու նույն հետաքրքրություններն ունեցող մարդիկ իրար հետ ավելի լավ են «լեզու գտնում» և կարողանում են ամուր ու երջանիկ ընտանիքներ կազմել, այնպես որ` փնտրեք ձեր նմաններին:

Ամուսնանալու և մի ողջ կյանք միասին միմյանց հետ ապրելու համար մարդկանց հարկավոր է ավելին քան սերը: Սերը ընդամենը մի գործոն է, որը սկիզբ է դնում հարաբերություններին ու միասին ապրելու ցանկությանը, իսկ այ հարաբերությունները պահպանելու համար պետք է լինել համբերատար, ներողամիտ, հումորի լավ զգացումով և զիջումների գնալու կարողությամբ օժտված:

Կյանքում ամեն բան էլ իր սկիզբն ու վերջն ունի, այդ թվում և սերը: Սակայն այս դեպքում պետք է տարբերակել սիրո 2 տեսակ` ռոմանտիկ հարաբերություններ, հոգևոր կապվածություն և կրքոտ սեր: Սիրո առաջին տիպը դիմանում է կյանքի ամեն տեսակ հարվածներին, հաղթահարում խոչընդոտներն ու տարիների փորձությունը, իսկ 2-րդը որքան արագ սկիզբ է առնում, այնքան արագ էլ հանգչում է բավարարվելուց հետո:
