Իսպանացի բժիշկ և հանրային առողջապահության փորձագետ Դավիդ Սեսպեդեսը զգուշացրել է ելակի մեջ թունաքիմիկատների բարձր կոնցենտրացիայի մասին: Նրա խոսքով՝ այս հատապտուղը կուտակում է ավելի շատ քիմիական նյութեր, քան մյուս մրգերի և բանջարեղենի մեծ մասը: Մասնագետը այս մասին խոսել է Mirror-ին տված հարցազրույցում:

Թունաքիմիկատները քիմիական նյութեր են, որոնք օգտագործվում են վնասակար օրգանիզմների, ինչպիսիք են միջատները, մոլախոտերը, սնկերը և այլն, ոչնչացնելու կամ աճը ճնշելու համար: Թունաքիմիկատները կարող են նաև օգտագործվել կենդանիների և մարդկանց համար վտանգավոր հիվանդությունների, մակաբույծների և կրծողների դեմ պայքարելու համար: Այնուամենայնիվ, որոշ թունաքիմիկատներ կարող են առաջացնել սուր թունավորում կամ հանգեցնել որոշակի քրոնիկ հիվանդությունների զարգացման:

Մասնագետը նշում է, որ շատերը կարծում են, որ ելակը պարզապես ջրի տակ լվանալը բավարար է վնասակար նյութերը հեռացնելու համար։

«Ամենատարածված սխալը հատապտուղները մի քանի վայրկյան ծորակի ջրի տակ լվանալն է, ապա դրանք խոնավ վիճակում սառնարանում պահելը։ Այս մեթոդը ոչ միայն չի հեռացնում թունաքիմիկատների մնացորդները, այլև արագացնում է դրանց փչացումը», - նշեց Սեսպեդեսը։

Քիմիական նյութերի ազդեցության ռիսկը նվազեցնելու համար նա խորհուրդ է տալիս ելակը 10 րոպե թրջել աղով կամ 3% քացախով ջրի մեջ, լավ չորացնել և պահել լավ օդափոխվող տարայի մեջ: Մասնագետը զգուշացնում է, որ նույնիսկ փոքր քանակությամբ թունաքիմիկատները կարող են վնասակար լինել ժամանակի ընթացքում, հատկապես երեխաների և թուլացած իմունային համակարգ ունեցող մարդկանց համար:
