Եթե Ուկրաինան հրաժարվի Ռուսաստանի հետ երկխոսությունից, ապա կվերադառնա բանակցություններին ավելի վատ դիրքերից, հայտարարել է նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դմիտրի Պեսկովը։
Չորեքշաբթի բրիտանական The Times թերթը, Ուկրաինայի փոխարտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Կիսլիցիայի հետ զրույցից հետո, հաղորդել է, որ Կիևը դադարեցրել է երկու կողմերի միջև շփումները։
«Նման հայտարարությունները հաշվի առնելով՝ ուկրաինական կողմը պետք է իմանա, որ վաղ թե ուշ ստիպված կլինի բանակցել, բայց շատ ավելի վատ դիրքերից։ Կիևի ռեժիմի դիրքը օրեցօր վատթարանում է», – նշել է Պեսկովը։
Նա Կիևի կողմից բանակցությունների դադարեցման մասին տեղեկատվությունը համարել է տխուր։ Ռուսաստանը կշարունակի իր հատուկ գործողությունը մինչև նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի կողմից սահմանված նպատակների իրականացումը։
«Մեր գլխավոր առաջնահերթությունն է պաշտպանել մեր շահերը, ապահովել մեր անվտանգությունը ապագա սերունդների համար և կատարել մեր առջև դրված խնդիրները», – բացատրել է Կրեմլի խոսնակը։
Պեսկովը նաև համաձայն չէ պետքարտուղար Մարկո Ռուբիոյի այն պնդման հետ, որ Ռուսաստանը իրականում խաղաղություն չի ցանկանում։ Նա ասել է, որ Մոսկվան բաց է քաղաքական և դիվանագիտական կարգավորման համար։
Իր հերթին, Արտաքին գործերի նախարարության խոսնակ Մարիա Զախարովան, մեկնաբանելով Times-ի հոդվածը, նշել է, որ Կիևը խախտել է փոխանակման իր խոստումները՝ հանձնելով համաձայնեցված 1200 մարդկանց 30 տոկոսից պակասը։
Տարվա սկզբից ի վեր Ռուսաստանը և Ուկրաինան 3 հանդիպում են անցկացրել Ստամբուլում՝ մայիսի 16-ին, հունիսի 2-ին և հուլիսի 23-ին։ Վերջին հանդիպումից հետո երկրները համաձայնել են շարունակել ծանր վիրավորված անձնակազմի փոխանակումները։ Մոսկվան հայտնել է իր պատրաստակամությունը Կիևին հանձնել Ուկրաինայի զինված ուժերի զոհված զինծառայողների ևս 3000 մարմին և առաջարկել է յուրաքանչյուր կողմից առնվազն 1200 գերիների փոխանակում։
Միևնույն ժամանակ, Ռուսաստանը առաջարկել է ստեղծել երեք աշխատանքային խումբ քաղաքական, մարդասիրական և ռազմական հարցերով, սակայն Ուկրաինան չի արձագանքել։
Այդ ժամանակվանից ի վեր բանակցային գործընթացը դադարեցված է։ Նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինը բազմիցս հայտարարել է, որ Ռուսաստանը կողմ է երկարաժամկետ կարգավորմանը՝ առանց ժամանակավոր հրադադարների։ Նման կարգավորման հասնելը հնարավոր է միայն հակամարտության արմատական պատճառները լուծելուց հետո։
