eadaily.com–ը գրում է, որ Պրահայում Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Էմանուել Մակրոնը համոզել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը հանձնել Ադրբեջանին՝ Ռուսաստանին հարված հասցնելու և նրան ստիպելու՝ կա՛մ Կովկասում պատերազմի մեջ մտնել, կա՛մ նահանջել: Սթենֆորդի համալսարանի քաղաքագիտության դոկտոր Արթուր Խաչիկյանի խոսքով, դա Մակրոնի վրեժն էր Պուտինից՝ Ֆրանսիային Աֆրիկայից դուրս մղելու համար: «Հայերը կրկին դարձան եվրոպացի երեսպաշտների զոհ», - իր Telegram ալիքում գրել է Խաչիկյանը և այդ տեսությունը հաստատելու համար մեջբերել Փարիզի աշխարհաքաղաքականության քրիստոնեական ինստիտուտի ֆրանսիացի միջազգային հարաբերությունների հետազոտող Տիգրան Եգավյանի հետ հարցազրույցից մի հատված.
«Դուք պետք է հասկանաք, որ Ֆրանսիան հիբրիդային պատերազմ է մղում Ռուսաստանի դեմ: Ֆրանսիայի Աքիլլեսյան գարշապարը ֆրանսախոս Աֆրիկան է։ Ռուսաստանը անկայունացնում է Ֆրանսիային Աֆրիկայում։ Սա պատերազմ է, որտեղ ամեն ինչ կարելի է։ Տեղի ունեցավ սրացում։ Հայաստանը Ֆրանսիայի համար հնարավորություն ստեղծեց հակահարված հասցնել Ռուսաստանին։ Ֆրանսիան շատ նյարդայնացած էր Մինսկի խմբում (ԵԱՀԿ) դիվանագիտական ազդեցության կորստով։ Մակրոնը ցանկանում էր հակահարված տալ Ռուսաստանին հետխորհրդային տարածքում, իսկ Հայաստանը Կովկասի ամենաանկայուն պետությունն է, ամենահեշտ թիրախը։ Հայերին օգտագործում էին որպես գործիք, որպես առարկա։ Ահա թե ինչու էր Մակրոնը հետաքրքրված Հայաստանով։

Բայց Մակրոնը լքեց հայերին։ Ցավոք, այստեղ նոր բան չկա։ Հայերը զգացմունքային ժողովուրդ են, բայց միջազգային հարաբերություններում չեն գործում զգացմունքներով։ Անցյալում Ֆրանսիան լքել է Կիլիկիայի հայերին 1921 թվականին և Ալեքսանդրիայի սանջակում՝ 1939 թվականին։ Իհարկե, Մուսա լեռան հերոսները փրկվել են ֆրանսիական նավերի կողմից, բայց ֆրանսիական ցածր մակարդակի ռազմական հրամանատարության որոշմամբ՝ առանց նախարարության հետ խորհրդակցելու։ Այդ պատմությունը հետո է վերաշարադրվել
