Երկուշաբթի առավոտյան Ավստրալիայի մայրաքաղաքային տարածքի (ACT) 69 դպրոցներում դասերը չեղարկվել են՝ բազմագույն, սակայն պոտենցիալ վտանգավոր ավազի խմբաքանակի պատճառով, հաղորդում է NBC News-ը։
Kmart և Target ընկերությունները շաբաթ օրը հետ են կանչել իրենց արտադրանքն այն բանից հետո, երբ խաղերի համար լայնորեն օգտագործվող ավազի նմուշներում ասբեստի հետքեր են հայտնաբերվել, ինչը ստիպել է փակել դպրոցները, կիրակի օրը հայտնել է նահանգի կառավարությունը։
«Ստուգումները շարունակվում են և կարող են տևել մի քանի օր», – գրել է ACT-ի կրթության նախարար Իվետ Բերին իր Facebook-յան գրառման մեջ՝ հավելելով, որ մինչ այժմ թեստավորման արդյունքները «բացասական են՝ օդում ասբեստի առկայության վերաբերյալ» բոլոր դպրոցներում։
Առողջապահության ներկայացուցիչները հայտնել են, որայն ավազի հետ շփում ունեցող մարդկանց բժշկական հետազոտություն անհրաժեշտ չէ։
Ավստրալիայի մրցակցության և սպառողների իրավունքների պաշտպանության հանձնաժողովը հայտարարել է, որ ասբեստի օդով փոխանցման կամ ներշնչման համար բավարար մանր մասնիկների առկայության ռիսկը ցածր է։
