Խոսքի ազատության պաշտպանության կոմիտեի նախագահ Աշոտ Մելիքյանը, խոսելով Բաղրամյան պողոտայում բողոքի ակցիայի ժամանակ լրագրողների նկատմամբ բռնությունների մասին,այսօր ասաց, որ պատահում է, երբ լրագրողը դառնում է ցուցարար:

Ըստ Մելիքյանի` ոչ ոք չի ասում, որ լրագրողն իրավունք չունի հանդես գալ` որպես քաղաքացի, բայց եթե լրագրողը ցուցարարի կարգավիճակում է գնացել, այդ դեպքում նա դադարում է լրագրող լինել:

Աշոտ Մելիքյանը հայտնեց, որ իրեն հենց լրագրողներն են ասել, թե բռնության ենթարկված լրագրող Փայլակ Ֆահրադյանն իրեն ցուցարարի պես է պահել:

ԳԱԼԱ-ի լրագրող, մեր գործընկեր Փայլակ Ֆահրադյանը, Past.am-ին մեկնաբանելով Աշոտ Մելիքյանի ասածները, նշել է. «Շատ զարմանալի է, որ լրագրողը կամ լրագրողները նման բան են ասել: Կուզեմ մի հարց հստակեցնել` ի՞նչ է նշանակում, որ ինձ ցուցարարի պես եմ պահել, ես հրաժարականի պահա՞նջ եմ ներկայացրել , թե՞ ելույթ եմ ունեցել, գուցե ե՞րթ կազմակերպել: Ես այդ վերընշվածներից որևէ մեկը չեմ արել: Եթե այդ լրագրողը ցույցի տեղում է եղել, ասեմ, որ ինչպես ինքը, ես էլ եմ կատարել իմ մասնագիտական պարտականությունները: Չեմ ուզում լրագրողի արածին գնահատական տալ, սակայն կարող եմ ասել,որ դա լրագրողական էթիկայի և համերաշխության խախտում է: Սա գլխին սարքելու ձև է, կամ մեկի հրահանգով զանգել և գործընկերոջ վրա ցեխ շպրտել է: Ես նման մարդկանց չեմ համարում լրագրողներ, ավելի ճիշտ՝ «դիկտաֆոն բռնողներ»:

Հարցին՝ բռնությունների բողոքներն ի՞նչ ընթացքի մեջ են, Փայլակ Ֆահրադյանը պատասխանեց. «Բողոք ներկայացվել է, ՀՔԾ-ում հարուցված է քրեական գործ, եթե չեմ սխալվում, նաև Վլադիմիր Գասպարյանն էր ասել,որ ծառայողական քննություն է ընթանում: Հույս ունեմ,որ բռնություն գործադրած ոստիկանները կպատժվեն»:
