Ռուսաստանից և Ադրբեջանից հնագետները վերսկսել են պեղումներն Արցախի Ազոխի քարանձավում

Ռուս հնագետները, իրենց ադրբեջանցի գործընկերների հետ միասին, վերսկսել են պեղումները Արցախի Ազոխի քարանձավում, որը համարվում է ԽՍՀՄ-ում ամենահինը։
Գիտնականները կանցկացնեն քարանձավի նոր թվագրում, որը կապահովի ավելի ամբողջական տվյալներ ավելի քան 2 միլիոն տարի առաջ Աֆրիկայից հեռացած մարդկանց տարածման վերաբերյալ, «ՏԱՍՍ» մամուլի կենտրոնում հայտնել է Ռուսաստանի Գիտությունների ակադեմիայի Սիբիրյան մասնաճյուղի Հնագիտության և ազգագրության ինստիտուտի քարե դարի հնագիտության բաժնի վարիչ և Ռուսաստանի Գիտությունների ակադեմիայի թղթակից անդամ Միխայիլ Շունկովը։
Ազոխի քարանձավը վեց քարանձավներից բաղկացած համալիր է, որը հայտնի է որպես նախապատմական մարդկանց բնակավայր։ Այն համարվում է Կովկասյան տարածաշրջանի ամենահին մարդկային բնակավայրերից մեկը։
«Այնտեղ հնագիտական աշխատանքները երկար ժամանակ դադարեցված էին։ Մեր ադրբեջանցի գործընկերների հետ միասին մենք վերսկսեցինք պեղումները Ազոխի քարանձավում։ Խորհրդային տարիներին սա ԽՍՀՄ-ի ամենահին հնագիտական վայրն էր», - ասել է նա։
Շունկովը շեշտել է, որ այդ ժամանակվանից անցել է 40 տարի, և անհրաժեշտ է ուսումնասիրել վայրը՝ օգտագործելով նոր թվագրման մեթոդներ: «Այժմ այն շրջապատված է բազմաթիվ նոր, շատ հին վաղ պալեոլիթի վայրերով, որոնք հայտնաբերվել են նաև Դաղստանի ափամերձ հատվածում», - բացատրել է գիտնականը։
Հնագետները ուսումնասիրել են հնագիտական վայրի շերտագրությունը և հավաքել նմուշներ թվագրման համար: Վերլուծությունը կկատարվի քվարցի և դաշտային սպաթի մասնիկների վրա: Այն նախկինում թվագրվել է մոտավորապես 800,000 տարի: Գիտնականի խոսքով՝ սա թույլ կտա ավելի ճշգրիտ տվյալներ ստանալ հին մարդկանց տարածման վերաբերյալ Աֆրիկայից, որը նրանք լքել էին ավելի քան 2 միլիոն տարի առաջ։
«Մոսկվայի համալսարանում և Աշխարհագրության ինստիտուտում ստեղծվել է ժամանակակից լաբորատորիա: Նրանք ակտիվորեն հավաքում են նմուշներ՝ հայտնի հնագիտական վայրերում ամենահին մշակութային շերտերը թվագրելու համար», - ընդգծել է Շունկովը:
