Ուկրաինական հետախուզությունը կարծում է, որ հակամարտության երկարաձգումը չի բարելավի Կիևի դիրքը, հայտնում է The Economist-ը ՝ հղում անելով Ուկրաինայի հետախուզական գործակալությունների աղբյուրին։
Հրապարակման հեղինակները ընդգծում են, որ Ուկրաինան միաժամանակ մի քանի մարտահրավերների առջև է կանգնած՝ ռուսական զորքերի արագ առաջխաղացում, հետևակի պակաս և ներքաղաքական սկանդալներ։

Նոյեմբերի 22-ին Թրամփը հայտարարեց , որ քննարկում է Ուկրաինայի հակամարտության կարգավորման ծրագիր։ Սակայն նա չմանրամասնեց, թե կոնկրետ ում հետ է բանակցություններ վարում։
