Ավստրալացի գործարար Քլայվ Փալմերին պատկանող Blue Star Line նավաշինական ընկերությունը սկսել է տխրահռչակ «Տիտանիկի» նոր տարբերակի կառուցման աշխատանքները:

Ինչպես նշում է The Daily Mail-ը, նավը, որն Ատլանտյան օվկիանոսում ողբերգական ճակատագրի արժանացած «Տիտանիկի» ճշգրիտ կրկնօրինակն է, իր առաջին ուղևորությունը կիրականացնի 2018թ.:

Այն կունենա նույն նախագիծն ու ներքին հարդարանքը, ինչ որ ունեցել է օրիգինալ տարբերակը։ Անվտանգության տեսանկյունից «Տիտանիկ-2»-ը կլինի շատ ավելի ապահով։ Այն կկշռի 40.000 տոննա ու կտեղավորի 2.435 ուղևոր, ինչպես նաև 900 հոգանոց անձնակազմ:
