Հոնկոնգի ողբերգական հրդեհը դառնում է Չինաստանի իշխանության ամենախոշոր փորձությունը

Հոնկոնգի Թայ Պո շրջանում գտնվող Wang Fuk Court բնակապարկում բռնկված հսկայական հրդեհը արդեն խլել է առնվազն 55 կյանքի և շուրջ 300 անհետ կորած ունի, դարձել է լուրջ քաղաքական փորձություն Պեկինի համար։ Տեղական ընտրություններից առաջ, որտեղ մասնակցում են միայն «հայրենասեր» թեկնածուներ, քաղաքացիները հարցեր են բարձրացնում անվտանգության և վերահսկողության արդյունավետության շուրջ։ Մասնագետները նշում են, որ հրդեհը կարող է ազդել հասարակության վերաբերմունքի վրա իշխանությունների նկատմամբ՝ հատկապես այն պարագայում, երբ կառավարությունը փորձում է ամրապնդել վերահսկողությունը քաղաքում։
Հերթական ճգնաժամի ֆոնին խոսեց նաև Չինաստանի նախագահը՝ Սի Ցզինպին, որը Պեկինից հրահանգեց անել «բոլորը հնարավոր»՝ մարդկային կորուստները նվազեցնելու համար։ Միևնույն պահին Հոնկոնգի կառավարությունը, գլխավորությամբ քաղաքի ղեկավարի՝ Ջոն Լի, առևանգեց վերահսկողությունը՝ արագ մեղադրելով վերանորոգման աշխատանքներով զբաղվող շինարարական ընկերությանը։ Ոստիկանությունը հայտարարեց, որ այդ ընկերության երեք պաշտոնյա ձերբակալվել են՝ դժգոհ շենքերի վրա օգտագործված ոչ ստանդարտ պաշտպանիչ նյութերի և զգուշավորության բացակայության պատճառով։
Հրդեհից հետո ծագած դժգոհությունները տարածվում են սոցիալական հարթակներում․ բնակիչներն ու փորձագետները քննադատում են իշխանություններին՝ անբավարար վերահսկողության, հնացած հրդեհային համակարգերի և շինարարական անվտանգության թույլ կանոնների համար։ Տեղի շինարարական ոլորտի միության ղեկավար Չաո Սզե Կիտը հայտարարում է, որ անհրաժեշտ է ամբողջ ոլորտի խորքային վերանայում՝ ներառյալ պետական վերահսկողության ուժեղացումը։ Հոնկոնգում զանգվածային դժբախտ դեպքերի համար ավանդաբար իրականացվել են բաց քննություններ, և այժմ ավելանում է ճնշումը՝ այս անգամ ևս պահանջելով նույն խորության և թափանցիկության հետաքննություն։
