Համաշխարհային օդերևութաբանական կազմակերպությունը թարմացրել է գլոբալ կանխատեսումը 2025/2026 ձմռան համար.
2025 թվականի օգոստոսից մինչև հոկտեմբեր Համաշխարհային օվկիանոսի մակերևույթի ջերմաստիճանները շարունակել են մնալ միջինից բարձր։ Հատկապես տաքացել է Խաղաղ օվկիանոսի հյուսիսային մասը։ Իսկ հասարակածային գոտում օդի ջերմաստիճանը փոքր-ինչ նվազել է, սակայն ընդհանուր սեզոնային միջինները գրեթե զրոյական շեղման սահմաններում են եղել։ Այլ տարածաշրջաններում նույնպես նկատվել է Նինյոյի ինդեքսների թեթև անկում։ Չնայած այս տարբեր անոմալիաներին՝ օվկիանոսի և մթնոլորտի միջև պահպանվել են թույլ Լա Նինյային բնորոշ փոխազդեցությունները, որոնք առավել լավ են արտահայտվել տեղումների անոմալիաներով։
Կանխատեսումները ցույց են տալիս, որ 2025/2026 թվականների ձմռանը ծովի մակերևույթի ջերմաստիճանների անոմալիաները կթուլանան, ինչը համապատասխանում է Լա Նինյայի թույլ ազդեցության պայմաններին։ Սպասվում է, որ Խաղաղ օվկիանոսի արևմտյան շրջանում օդի ջերմաստիճանը կմնա միջինից բարձր, ինչն էլ կպահպանի արևելք-արևմուտք ուղղությամբ արտահայտված ջերմային հակադրությունը և կուժեղացնի հասարակածային գոտում Լա Նինյային բնորոշ մթնոլորտային գործընթացները։
ՀՕԿ-ի բազմամոդելային կանխատեսումները 2025/2026 թվականների ձմռան համար ցույց են տալիս, որ աշխարհում զգալիորեն բարձրացել է ցամաքի մակերևույթի միջինից բարձր ջերմաստիճանների հավանականությունը։ Միջինից բարձր ջերմաստիճանների բարձր հավանականություն է կանխատեսվում Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայի հարավային և հյուսիսարևելյան շրջանների, Կենտրոնական Ամերիկայի, Կարիբյան ավազանի, ինչպես նաև Հյուսիսային բևեռային շրջանների համար։ Հարավային կիսագնդում նման պայմաններ առավել հավանական են Նոր Զելանդիայում և Հարավային Ամերիկայի հարավում, իսկ Ավստրալիայում նկատվում է այդ հավանականության համեմատաբար թույլ աճ։
2025/2026 թվականների ձմռան տեղումների կանխատեսումները Խաղաղ օվկիանոսի հասարակածային գոտում նույնպես համապատասխանում են թույլ Լա Նինյայի պայմաններին։ Տեղումների աճ կանխատեսվում է Հյուսիսային Ամերիկայի հյուսիսում, Կենտրոնական Ամերիկայի հարավում, Կարիբյան ավազանում, ինչպես նաև Հյուսիսային Եվրոպայում և Հյուսիսային Ասիայում՝ 50° հյուսիսային լայնությունից բարձր։
