Այսօր առավոտյան իրավապահները բացել են Գյումրիի Յոթ Վերք եկեղեցին, որը երեկ երեկոյան քահանաների՝ թղթի վրա գրված ստորագրություններով կնիքվել ու փակվել էր: Քիչ անց այստեղ պատարագ է մատուցվելու, որին ներկա է լինելու վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, հայտնում է «Ազատություն»-ը։
Քաղաքի կենտրոնական Վարդանանց հրապարակ տանող ճանապարհները փակ են, ոստիկանական մեծ ուժեր են կենտրոնացած Յոթ Վերք եկեղեցու շրջակայքում: Քաղաքացիներից ոմանք ցանկացան մտնել եկեղեցի, սակայն նրանց չթույլատրվեց:
