Իսրայելի վարչապետ Բենիամին Նեթանյահուն Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Ֆրիդրիխ Մերցի հետ համատեղ մամուլի ասուլիսում հայտարարել է, որ իր կարծիքով Գազայում հրադադարի առաջին փուլը գրեթե ավարտված է և սպասում է շուտափույթ անցմանը երկրորդ փուլին, հայտնում է Times of Israel-ը։

Ըստ Նեթանյահուի, «խաղաղություն հաստատելու հնարավորությունները արդեն մոտ են» այն բանից հետո, երբ վերջին տարիներին իսրայելական ռազմական գործողությունները հարված են հասցրել «Իրանի դիմադրության առանցքին»՝ Գազայի, Լիբանանի պատերազմներում և հենց Իսլամական Հանրապետության դեմ։

«Ես պատրաստվում եմ դրանք քննարկել նախագահ [Դոնալդ] Թրամփի հետ, երբ այս ամսվա վերջում հանդիպեմ նրան», — ասել է նա՝ հավելելով, որ կքննարկի «ինչպես վերջ տալ ՀԱՄԱՍ-ի իշխանությանը Գազայում, որովհետև դա կարևոր մասն է Գազայի համար այլ ապագա ապահովելու և բոլորիս համար, ովքեր կանգնած են Գազայի դիմաց»։

«Ինչպես գիտեք, մենք ավարտեցինք առաջին մասը, առաջին փուլը։ Մենք գրեթե տեղում ենք։ Վերջին պատանդի՝ ավագ սերժանտ Ռան Գվիլիի մարմնի երկար սպասված վերադարձից հետո սպասում ենք անցմանը երկրորդ փուլին», — ասել է Նեթանյահուն՝ հավելելով, որ իր կարծիքով այդ փուլն ավելի բարդ կլինի։

Նա նշել է, որ երրորդ փուլը կլինի «Գազայի դեռադիկալիզացիան», որն, ինչպես ընդգծել է, «իրագործվել էր Գերմանիայում» Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմից հետո։

«Ես շփվում եմ բազմաթիվ համաշխարհային առաջնորդների հետ, բայց երբ խոսում եմ Մերցի հետ, դա ազնիվ և բաց զրույց է, նույնիսկ երբ մենք  տարաձայնություններ ունենք», — ասել է Նեթանյահուն։
