Անհայտ անձինք հափշտակել են Արարատի մարզի Տափերական համայնքում պահվող 15-րդ դարի Ավետարանը: Այս մասին հայտարարում է Մատենադարանի տնօրինությունը։

Հայտարարության մեջ, մասնավորապես, նշվում է.

«Խորը մտահոգությամբ տեղեկացանք, որ անհայտ անձինք հափշտակել են Արարատի մարզի Տափերական համայնքում պահվող 15-րդ դարի Ավետարանը: Այս փաստը հրամայական է դարձնում մասնավոր անհատների կացարաններում և համայնքի եկեղեցական հաստատություններում առանց անվտանգային պատշաճ համակարգի և պահպանման պայմանների ձեռագրերի առկայության խնդրի կարգավորումը:

Մատենադարանի տնօրենությունը հնարավոր բոլոր առիթներով հայտարարել է իր պատրաստակամությունը՝ եթե ոչ իբրև նվիրատվություն ընդունելու, ապա այդ մատյանները ժամանակավոր պահպանության առնելու վերաբերյալ:

Սույնով վերահաստատում ենք մեր հանձնառությունը և պատրաստ ենք մասնավոր կամ համայնքային պատկանելության ձեռագիր մատյանների պատշաճ պահպանության համար ի սպաս դնելու Մատենադարանի նյութական և մասնագիտական կարողությունները:

Երաշխավորում ենք, որ բոլոր մատյանները մուտք կգործեն Մատենադարանի պահոց՝ ըստ ժամանակավոր պահպանության նախապես ստորագրված պայմանագրի, որում կամրագրվեն սեփականատիրոջ իրավունքները և Մատենադարանի պարտավորությունները:

Ցավալի է, որ Մատենադարանի «Մատյանների տունդարձը» արշավին զուգահեռ, որի շնորհիվ աշխարհի տարբեր աճուրդներից և մասնավոր հավաքածուներից Հայաստան են վերադառնում մեր հոգևոր արժեքները, մեր իսկ երկրում կողոպտվում են և անհետանում  հոգևոր պատմության նմուշները:

Այս ոլորտում Մատենադարանի հետ համագործակցությունը քաղաքացիական հասունության և պատասխանատվության ցուցիչ է»։
