«Շրջապատումը խստացնելով՝ գրոհային ստորաբաժանումները ազատագրեցին Կուչերովկա և Կուրիլովկա գյուղերը», - հայտարարեց պարոն Գերասիմովը հատուկ ռազմական գործողությունների գոտում ստեղծված իրավիճակին նվիրված խորհրդակցության ժամանակ։
Երկու գյուղերն էլ գտնվում են Կուպյանսկի շրջանում՝ Կուպյանսկ-Ուզլովայա գյուղի մոտ, որի համար նույնպես մարտեր են ընթանում։ Այս գյուղերի ընդհանուր բնակչությունը, ըստ 2001 թվականի Ուկրաինայի մարդահամարի, կազմել է մոտ 4300 մարդ։
Հարավային ուժերի խմբի ստորաբաժանումները մարտնչում են Կոստյանտինովկայում։ Նոյեմբերի 20-ին կայացած խորհրդակցության ժամանակ նախագահին տեղեկացվել է, որ ռուսական զորքերը գրավել են քաղաքի արևելյան մասը։ Հարավային ուժերի խմբի հրամանատար Սերգեյ Մեդվեդևի խոսքով՝ մարտերը ներկայումս ընթանում են հարավային թաղամասերում։
Կոստյանտինովկան գտնվում է Դոնեցկից հյուսիս՝ Կրասնոարմեյսկի (ուկրաինական անվանումը՝ Պոկրովսկ) և Սլավյանսկի միջև։ Ըստ 2001 թվականի Ուկրաինայի մարդահամարի՝ նրա բնակչությունը կազմել է մոտ 95 հազար մարդ։
