Կալիֆոռնիայի դատարանի ատենակալներն ուրբաթ որոշել են 40 մլն դոլար  հատկացնել երկու կանանց, որոնք հայտարարել են, որ Johnson & Johnson ընկերության մանկական ցանափոշին դարձել է իրենց մոտ ձվարանների քաղցկեղի առաջացման պատճառ, գրել է The Guardian-ը։

Լոս Անջելեսի Գերագույն դատարանին կից դատարանը որոշել է Մոնիկա Քենթին վճարել տալ 18 միլիոն եւ Դեբորա Շուլցին ու նրա ամուսնուն՝ 22 միլիոն դոլար, գալով այն եզրակացության, որ Johnson & Johnson-ը տարիներ շարունակ իմացել է իր՝ տալկի վրա հիմնված արտադրանքի վտանգների մասին, բայց չի զգուշացրել սպառողներին։

Johnson & Johnson-ի դատական ​​​​գործերով փոխնախագահ Էրիկ Հաասը նշել է, որ ընկերությունը մտադիր է «անհապաղ բողոքարկել այս դատավճիռը եւ ակնկալում է հաղթել, ինչպես լինում է նման անոմալ որոշումների դեպքում»։
