Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Ֆրիդրիխ Մերցը զգուշացրել է, որ Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինն իր ագրեսիվ արտաքին քաղաքականության մեջ չի սահմանափակվի Ուկրաինայով, հայտնում է DW-ն։
«Պուտինը կանգ չի առնի։ Եվ եթե Ուկրաինան ընկնի, նա կանգ չի առնի»,- հայտարարել է կանցլերը շաբաթ՝ դեկտեմբերի 13-ին, Մյունխենում՝ Քրիստոնեասոցիալական միության (ՔՍՄ) համագումարում, որը նրա՝ Քրիստոնեադեմոկրատական միություն (ՔԴՄ) կուսակցության և Սոցիալ-դեմոկրատիայի հետ մաս է կազմում։
Մերցը հայտարարել է, որ Պուտինը շահագրգռված է «Եվրոպայում սահմանների հիմնարար փոփոխությամբ» և Խորհրդային Միության՝ իր նախկին սահմաններով վերականգնմամբ։ Նրա համոզմամբ՝ դա «հսկայական սպառնալիք է, այդ թվում՝ ռազմական, այն երկրների համար, որոնք ժամանակին եղել են այդ կայսրության մաս»։
Ուստի, շարունակել է Գերմանիայի կանցլերը, Ուկրաինային հետագա օգնությունը և Եվրոպայի միասնությունը Մեծ Բրիտանիայի հետ ռազմավարական համագործակցության հարցում առաջնահերթություն են արտաքին և անվտանգային քաղաքականության մեջ։ Կարևոր է նաև «հնարավորինս երկար պահպանել ՆԱՏՕ-ն», որի արդյունավետությունը բազմիցս կասկածի տակ է դրել ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը։
Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ քաղաքականության տեսանկյունից, ըստ Մերցի, 1914 թվականին մի քանի պետությունների՝ Առաջին համաշխարհային պատերազմի մեջ շտապողական ներքաշվելը սխալ պատմական զուգահեռ է։
«Հավանաբար, ավելի ճիշտ կլիներ որպես պատմական զուգահեռ օգտագործել 1938 թվականը»,- նշել է Մերցը, մեջբերում է Reuters գործակալությունը։
Ըստ նրա՝ Մյունխենի համաձայնագրից հետո Ադոլֆ Հիտլերը տեսավ, որ եվրոպական պետությունների խաղաղեցման քաղաքականությունն ուժեղացնում է իր կայսերական էքսպանսիոնիստական հավակնությունները, և մեկ տարի անց սկսեց Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմը։
Հաշվի առնելով ԱՄՆ-ում, Չինաստանում և Ռուսաստանում տեղի ունեցող իրադարձությունները՝ Մերցը փաստել է «ուժի համաշխարհային քաղաքական և տնտեսական կենտրոնների գրեթե տեկտոնական տեղաշարժ»։ Գերմանացիներն ու եվրոպացիները գտնվում են «այդ գործընթացի ուղիղ կենտրոնում» և, ինչպես ԱՄՆ-ը, պետք է պաշտպանեն իրենց շահերը, համոզված է ԳՖՀ կանցլերը։
