Երբ ձախողված վարչապետը որոշում է Եկեղեցու «կանոնները»։ Այս մասին գրել է քաղաքագետ Սուրեն Սուրենյանցը:

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի վերջին գրառումը, որը վերաբերում է Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսին և Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու ներքին կյանքին, հնարավոր չէ պարզապես կարծիք համարել:

Այն ուղիղ միջամտություն է Եկեղեցու ինքնավարությանը և բացահայտորեն հակասում է ՀՀ Սահմանադրության 17-րդ հոդվածին, որի համաձայն՝ Եկեղեցին առանձնացված է պետությունից և ինքնուրույն է իր ներքին կառավարման հարցերում։

Իշխանության այս քաղաքականությունը համեմատելի է խորհրդային ժամանակների ռեպրեսիվ միջամտությունների հետ:

Վարչապետը սկզբում Կաթողիկոսին մեղադրում էր կուսակրոնության ուխտը խախտելու մեջ, ապա նրան որակեց որպես լրտես, իսկ այժմ էլ մեղադրում է Եկեղեցում «ապականոնական վիճակ» ստեղծելու համար։

Մեղադրանքների այս հերթափոխը չի խոսում սկզբունքայնության մասին, այլ վկայում է մեկ կանխորոշված նպատակին ծառայող քաղաքական վարքագծի մասին՝ Եկեղեցին իշխանության վերահսկողության տակ առնելու։

Առնվազն տարակուսելի է, երբ Սահմանադրությունը խախտող, 2021 թվականին ընդունված Կառավարության ծրագիրը փաստացի տապալած վարչապետը, հրաժարական տալու փոխարեն, փորձում է «օրինականություն» հաստատել պետությունից անկախ հոգևոր կառույցում։

Այս համատեքստում Կանոնագրքի թեման երկրորդական է․ իրական խնդիրը իշխանության ձգտումն է վերահսկողություն հաստատել այն ինստիտուտի նկատմամբ, որը մինչ այժմ չի ենթարկվել քաղաքական կամքին։

Այսօր հարցը Եկեղեցու Կանոնագիրքը չէ։

Հարցն այն է, թե արդյոք Հայաստանում դեռևս թույլատրվում է ինքնավար հանրային ինստիտուտների գոյությունը, որոնք չեն ղեկավարվում վարչապետի կաբինետից։

Ընդհանուր առմամբ, սա խորքային ճգնաժամ է Հայաստանի ներքին կյանքում, որը կարող է ազդել ազգային միասնության վրա:

Եկեղեցին դարեր շարունակ եղել է հայկական ինքնության կարևոր մաս, և նման հակամարտությունը խիստ վտանգավոր է, որը կարող է հարուցել իրավունքի և ինքնության ճգնաժամ:

Եկեղեցին կարող է և պարտավոր է լուծել իր ներքին խնդիրները իր իսկ կանոններով և ընթացակարգերով, ոչ թե Փաշինյանի կողմից թելադրվող «ճանապարհային քարտեզով»։
