ԱՄՆ պետդեպում կրկին Թուրքիայի համար ոչ ցանկալի հայտարարություն է արվել

Միացյալ Նահանգների պետդեպարտամենտը կրկին հայտարարություն է արել այն մասին, որ Սիրիայի քրդական «Ժողովրդավարական միություն» կուսակցությունը (PYD) ահաբեկչական կառույց չէ: ԱՄՆ պետդեպի փոխխոսնակ Մարկ Թոներն այս մասին հայտարարություն է արել լրագրողների հետ ամենօր յա ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ:
«Այո, մենք շարունակում ենք կարծել, որ PKK-ն (Քրդական բանվորական կուսակցություն) ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություն է, սակայն PYD-ի դեպքում նույն կարծիքին չենք»,- ասել է Թոները, ով նախօրեին ևս նման հայտարարություն էր արել՝ ընդգծելով, որ այդ հարցում իրենց տեսակետները պաշտոնական Անկարայի կարծիքի հետ չեն համընկնում:
ԱՄՆ պետդեպի խոսնակ Ջոն Քիրբիի կողմից PYD մասին նմանօրինակ հայտարարության պատճառով փետրվարի 9-ին Անկարայում ԱՄՆ դեսպանը կանչվել էր Թուրքիայի ԱԳՆ: Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը փետրվարի 10-ին Միացյալ Նահանգներին մեղադրել է Սիրիայի քրդական «Ժողովրդավարական միություն» կուսակցությունը (PYD) ոչ ահաբեկչական համարելու հարցում՝ նշելով, թե PYD-ն և PKK-ն նույն կառույցն են: «ԱՄՆ-ին ասում ենք, որ PYD-ն ահաբեկչական կազմավորում է: Իսկ ամերիկացի պաշտոնյաները կանգնում ու ասում են, թե «ոչ, մենք այն որպես ահաբեկչական կառույց չենք դիտարկում& raquo;... Է-հե~յ, ԱՄՆ, քեզ քանի անգամ ասացինք՝ մե՞զ հետ ես, թե ահաբեկչական PKK-ի և PYD-ի»,- ասել էր նա:
