Թաիլանդի արտգործնախարար Սիխասակ Փհուանգկեոն և Կամբոջայի արտաքին գործերի և միջազգային համագործակցության նախարար Պրակ Սոխոնը Չինաստանի արտգործնախարար Վան Իի հետ հեռախոսազրույցում հրադադարի պատրաստակամություն են հայտնել, ասված է Չինաստանի ԱԳՆ պաշտոնական կայքում զետեղված հայտարարության մեջ։

Հաղորդվել է, որ հինգշաբթի Վան Ին առանձին հեռախոսազրույցներ է ունեցել երկու երկրների արտգործնախարարների հետ, որոնց ընթացքում կողմերը չինացի նախարարին են ներկայացրել վերջին զարգացումները և «լարվածության թուլացման և հրադադարի պատրաստակամություն հայտնել»։

«Որպես Կամբոջայի և Թաիլանդի մտերիմ բարեկամ և հարևան՝ Չինաստանը վերջին բանը, որ ցանկանում է, նրանց միջև զինված հակամարտություն տեսնելն է և խորապես սգում է հակամարտության զոհերի և տուժածների համար... Առաջնահերթ խնդիրը որոշում ընդունելն է, շուտափույթ հրադադարի հասնելը, կորուստների անհապաղ դադարեցումը և փոխադարձ վստահության վերականգնումը»,- Վան Իի խոսքերն է մեջբերել նախարարությունը։

Վան Ին նշել է նաև, որ Չինաստանը պնդում է, որ պետք է խաղաղություն հաստատվի և բանակցություններ անցկացվեն, շեշտելով, որ աջակցում է АСЕАН-ի միջնորդական ջանքերին։

Թաիլանդի և Կամբոջայի արտգործնախարարները բարձր են գնահատել Չինաստանի օբյեկտիվ դիրքորոշումը և նրա միջնորդությունը սահմանային հակամարտության կարգավորման գործում և ակնկալում են, որ Չինաստանն ավելի նշանակալի դեր կխաղա լարվածության թուլացման և խաղաղության վերականգնման գործում, ասված է Չինաստանի ԱԳՆ հայտարարության մեջ։
