Իրանի նախագահ Մասուդ Փեզեշքիանը մերժել է Միացյալ Նահանգների կողմից բանակցությունների վերսկսման համար սահմանված նվաստացուցիչ պայմանները՝ ընդգծելով, որ Թեհրանը ձգտում է խաղաղության և կառուցողական համագործակցության, բայց չի հանդուրժի հարկադրանք, սպառնալիք կամ որևէ գործողություն, որը խաթարում է Իրանի արժանապատվությունն ու ազգային շահը։ Այս մասին հայտնում է IRAN.ru-ն։
Այսօր Թեհրանում քաղաքական գործիչների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ նա ներկայացրել է իր վարչակազմի արտաքին քաղաքականությունը։
Պատժամիջոցների վերաբերյալ Փեզեշքիանը նշել է, որ Իրանը նախկինում բանակցություններ էր վարել Միացյալ Նահանգների հետ և պատրաստ էր համաձայնության գալ, սակայն Վաշինգտոնը խափանել է գործարքը՝ պատերազմ սկսելով Իրանի դեմ։
Նախագահը հավելել է, որ Միացյալ Նահանգներն այժմ առաջարկում է նվաստացուցիչ պայմաններ բանակցությունները շարունակելու համար, որոնք, նրա խոսքով, իրանը պատրաստ չէ ընդունել։ Նա ընդգծել է, որ Իրանը չի հանդուրժի նվաստացումը կամ չի ընդունի թույլ և մասնատված երկիրը։
