Քորթնի Քարդաշյանը ընդմիշտ հրաժարվել է բոտոքսից՝ «հոգևոր զարգացման» համար

Քորթնի Քարդաշյանը հայտարարել է, որ այլևս երբեք բոտոքսի ներարկումներ չի անի։ Քարդաշյան-Ջեններ քույրերից դա բացահայտել է Hulu-ի «Քարդաշյանները» հաղորդման նոր դրվագում։
46-ամյա աստղը նախկինում փորձել է բոտոքս, բայց պնդում է, որ այդ ժամանակից ի վեր անցել է մի քանի տարի, և ինքը չի պլանավորում վերադառնալ։ «Ես չորս տարի բոտոքս չեմ արել՝ իմ երրորդ աչքը բաց պահելու համար»,-Քորթնին կիսվել է քույրերի հետ՝ հավելելով, որ այդ որոշումը օգնել է իրեն զարգացնել իր ինտուիցիան։
Քիմը, իր հերթին, խոստովանել է, որ վերջերս բոտոքս է ընդունել և հումորով աջակցել է Քորթնիին. «Ապրես, որ «ոչ» ես ասել»։
Քույրերի միջև զրույցն ընդգծեց կոսմետիկ միջամտությունների նկատմամբ նրանց մոտեցումների տարբերությունը. Քորթնին ընդունում է հոգևոր զարգացումը և բնական տեսքը, մինչդեռ Քիմը և ընտանիքի մյուս անդամները շարունակում են փորձարկումներ անել իրենց արտաքինի հետ։
Քորթնիի որոշումը հատկապես ուշագրավ է՝ հաշվի առնելով նրա ամուսնությունը Թրևիս Բարքերի հետ, որը տեղի է ունեցել մոտավորապես այն ժամանակ, երբ նա վերջին անգամ բոտոքս էր ընդունել։ Իր օրինակով աստղը ոգեշնչում է երկրպագուներին ընդունել բնական գեղեցկությունը և ինքնախնամքը՝ առանց ներարկումների։ Քորթնիի մոտեցումն արդեն դառնում է հայտնիների միտում. անցյալ շաբաթ Քեյթ Ուինսլեթը և Քայլի Քելսին նույնպես խոսեցին բնական ծերացման մասին՝ առանց վիրահատության կամ ներարկումների: Այնուամենայնիվ, որոշ աստղեր, ինչպիսիք են Քենդիս Քեմերոն Բյուրը և Ամանդա Սեյֆրիդը, շարունակում են մնալ բոտոքսի կողմնակիցներ:
