Գիտնականները ստեղծել են ցողունային բջիջների համաշխարհային շտեմարան՝ ապագա բուժման մեթոդների համար

Հետազոտողները ներկայացրել են կլինիկական կիրառման համար պիտանի մարդու պլյուրիպոտենտ ցողունային բջիջների առաջին համաշխարհային կատալոգը, ինչը կարող է արագացնել այդ բջիջների հիման վրա բուժման նոր մեթոդների մշակումը: Կատալոգի մասին հոդվածը հրապարակվել է Stem Cell Reports ամսագրում:

Այդպիսի բջիջներն ընդունակ են վերածվել օրգանիզմի ցանկացած տիպի բջիջների, ինչը դրանք հատկապես արժեքավոր է դարձնում վերականգնողական բժշկության, հիվանդությունների մոդելավորման և դեղամիջոցների մշակման համար: Ամբողջ աշխարհում արդեն սկսվել են նման բջիջների հիմքով արտադրանքների ավելի քան 100 կլինիկական փորձարկումներ: Մշակման վաղ փուլերում գտնվող պոտենցիալ կլինիկական արտադրանքների աճող թիվն ընդգծում է բջջային գծերի ճիշտ ընտրության կարևորությունը, քանի որ սխալը կարող է հետաձգել կամ ամբողջությամբ կանգնեցնել դեղամիջոցի ստեղծումը:

Համաշխարհային կատալոգը ստեղծել է գիտնականների միջազգային խումբը, որը նպատակ ունի համակարգել կլինիկական կիրառման համար պիտանի բջջային գծերի մասին հասանելի տվյալները, ներառյալ դրանց ծագումը, որակը և բնութագրերը:

Սա օգնում է հետազոտողներին և ընկերություններին ավելի արագ գտնել ու ընտրել համապատասխան գծեր կոնկրետ թերապևտիկ նպատակների համար՝ միաժամանակ պահպանելով անվտանգության և արդյունավետության խիստ չափանիշները: Նման ռեեստրները հեշտացնում են հասանելիությունը ստուգված գծերին և նվազեցնում բջջային հատկությունների փոփոխականության հետ կապված ռիսկերը, ինչը հատկապես կարևոր է որակի և կլինիկական վերարտադրելիության նկատմամբ կարգավորող մարմինների պահանջների պարագայում:

Այս նախաձեռնությանն աջակցելու համար արդեն գոյություն ունեն այլ ռեսուրսներ, օրինակ՝ Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Registry-ն (hPSCreg)՝ պլյուրիպոտենտ բջիջների գծերի ազատ համաշխարհային ռեեստրը, և ինդուկցված պլյուրիպոտենտ ցողունային բջիջների (iPSC) եվրոպական բանկերը, որոնք պահպանում և տարածում են բարձրորակ բջիջներ:

Նման կատալոգի ստեղծումն արտացոլում է նաև ինդուկցված պլյուրիպոտենտ ցողունային բջիջների տեխնոլոգիաների զարգացման արդի միտումները: Այդ բջիջները կարող են վերածրագրավորվել հասուն սոմատիկ բջիջներից և օգտագործվում են վերականգնողական բժշկության մեջ, հիվանդությունների մոդելավորման և դեղերի փորձարկման համար:

Հեղինակները ակնկալում են, որ համաշխարհային կատալոգը կարևոր գործիք կդառնա գիտնականների, բժիշկների և բիոտեխնոլոգիական ընկերությունների համար՝ բարձրացնելով բջջային թերապիաների մշակման արագությունը, թափանցիկությունն ու հուսալիությունը, ինչպես նաև նպաստելով ամբողջ աշխարհում պացիենտների բուժման առաջադեմ մեթոդների ավելի լայն ներդրմանը:
