«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

1908 –ծնվել է կանադահայ հայտնի լուսանկարիչ Յուսուֆ Քարշը։
1918 - Հայ-վրացական պատերազմի ընթացքում հայկական զորքերն ամրացել են Սադախլոյում:
1918 - Իրանը երկու հայից և երկու մուսուլմանից բաղկացած խումբ է ուղարկել Նախիջևան, որպեսզի վերջիններս խաղաղություն հաստատեն հայերի և ադրբեջանցիների միջև։
1928 – ծնվել է նշանավոր երգչախմբային դիրիժոր Հովհաննես Չեքիջյանը:
1994 - ԼՂՀ Գերագույն խորհրդի կողմից Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանն ընտրվել է անկախ Արցախի Հանրապետության առաջին նախագահ։
2006 - Հայաստանի խորհրդարանը երկրորդ ընթերցմամբ ընդունել է պետական օրհներգի մասին օրինագիծը, որով ամրագրվել է, որ ներկա հիմնը՝ «Մեր հայրենիքը», ուժի մեջ է՝ «մինչև Հայաստանի նոր օրհներգի տեքստը և երաժշտությունը օրենքով սահմանելը»:
2010– վախճանվել է գրող, արձակագիր, թարգմանիչ Ստեփան Ալաջաջյանը:
2011 – վախճանվել է նկարիչ, դիզայներ, լուսանկարիչ Կամո Նիգարյանը։
2014 -Մոսկվայում տեղի ունեցած Եվրասիական տնտեսական բարձրագույն խորհրդի նիստում Հայաստանը պաշտոնապես միացել է ԵԱՏՄ-ին:
2020-վախճանվել է ֆուտբոլիստ և մարզիչ Արկադի Անդրեասյանը՝ Հայաստանի պատմության լավագույն ֆուտբոլիստներից մեկը:
2024– վախճանվել է ակնաբուժության պրոֆեսոր, Ս. Վ. Մալայանի անվան ակնաբուժական կենտրոնի հիմնադիր Ալեքսանդր Մալայանը:

484 –Գուներիխի մահից հետո վանդալների թագավոր է դարձել Գունտամունդը։
558 –Խլոտար 1-ինը ավարտել է Ֆրանկյան թագավորության միավորումն իր իշխանության տակ։
1672 –իտալացի աստղագետ Ջովանի Կասսինին հայտնաբերել է Սատուրնի հերթական արբանյակը՝ Ռեյան։
1732 –ծնվել է անգլիացի տեքստիլ արդյունաբերող և գյուտարար Ռիչարդ Արկրայտը։
1777 –ծնվել է Ռուսական կայսրության ցար Ալեքսանդր 1-ինը։
1783 –Ջորջ Վաշինգտոնը դադարել է հանդիսանալ Կոնտինենտալ բանակի գերագույն գլխավոր հրամանատար։
1799 –ծնվել է ռուս մեծանուն նկարիչ Կարլ Բրյուլովը։
1804 –ծնվել է ֆրանսիացի քննադատ և բանաստեղծ Շառլ Օգյուստեն դը Սենտ-Բյովը։
1871– Կահիրեում տեղի է ունեցել իտալացի երգահան Ջուզեպպե Վերդիի «Աիդա» օպերայի առաջնախաղը:
1888– հոլանդացի աշխարհահռչակ գեղանկարիչ Վինսենթ վան Գոգը կտրել է իր ականջը և նվիրել այն մի անառակ կնոջ:
1900 –Ռեժինալդ Փասսենդենը աշխարհում առաջին անգամ իրականացրել է ձայնային ռադիոհաղորդումը։
1913 –մի քանի խոշոր բանկերից կազմակերպվել է ԱՄՆ-ի Ռեզերվային ֆեդերալ համակարգը։
1933 –ծնվել է Ճապոնիայի կայսր Ակիխիտոն։
1947- Bell Labs ընկերությունը ցուցադրել է առաջին տրանզիստորը։
1972– Նիկարագուայի մայրաքաղաք Մանագուայում տեղի է ունեցել ուժեղ երկրաշարժ, որի հետևանքով զոհվել է մոտ 10000 մարդ, ևս 20000-ը վիրավորվել է:
1986 –Գորկովյան յոթամյա աքսորից հետո Մոսկվա է վերադարձել ակադեմիկոս Անդրեյ Սախարովը։
1990 –տեղի է ունեցել Սլովենիայի՝ Հարավսլավիայից անկախանալու հանրաքվեն, որի ժամանակ անկախացմանը կողմ է արտահայտվել քվեարկողների 95 %-ը։
2000– ՖԻՖԱ-ն «Ռեալ Մադրիդ» ակումբին է հանձնել «20-րդ դարի լավագույն ակումբ» մրցանակը:
