Թուրքիայի Ներքին գործերի նախարարությունը հայտնել է, որ Falcon 50 մասնավոր ինքնաթիռում եղել է հինգ մարդ, որոնց հետ կապը կորել է Անկարայից թռիչքից կարճ ժամանակ անց։
Նախարարությունը պարզաբանել է, որ ինքնաթիռը մեկնել է Էսենբողա օդանավակայանից և ուղևորվում էր դեպի Տրիպոլի։ Թռիչքից կարճ ժամանակ անց անձնակազմը Հայմանայի տարածքում արտակարգ վայրէջքի ազդանշան է տվել, որից հետո ինքնաթիռի հետ կապը կորել է։ «Հայմանայի տարածքում ինքնաթիռը արտակարգ վայրէջքի նախազգուշացում է տվել, սակայն ինքնաթիռի հետ կապը վերականգնելու հետագա փորձերը անհաջող են եղել։ Ինքնաթիռում եղել է հինգ ուղևոր», - հայտնել է Թուրքիայի Ներքին գործերի նախարարությունը։
Նախարարության տվյալներով՝ Լիբիայի բանակի գլխավոր շտաբի պետ, գեներալ Մոհամմեդ Ալի Ահմեդ ալ-Հադդադը, հնարավոր է, եղել է ինքնաթիռի ուղևորների թվում։ Այս տեղեկատվության պաշտոնական հաստատում ներկայումս չկա։
