Վերջին օրերին գերմանական բժշկական շրջանակներում ակտիվորեն քննարկվում է ավոկադոյի օգտագործման հնարավոր վտանգները։ Չնայած այն համարվում է «սուպերմթերք» և լայնորեն գովազդվում է առողջ ապրելակերպի համատեքստում, գերմանացի մի շարք բժիշկներ կոչ են անում որոշ մարդկանց ամբողջությամբ հրաժարվել ավոկադոյից կամ խիստ սահմանափակել դրա օգտագործումը։

Մասնագետների խոսքով՝ ավոկադոն պարունակում է մեծ քանակությամբ ճարպեր, որոնք թեև համարվում են «օգտակար», սակայն կարող են ծանրաբեռնել լյարդը և ենթաստամոքսային գեղձը։ Հատկապես վտանգի խմբում են լյարդի ճարպային հեպատոզ, պանկրեատիտ, լեղապարկի հիվանդություններ ունեցող մարդիկ։ Նրանց մոտ ավոկադոյի օգտագործումը կարող է առաջացնել ցավ, ծանրության զգացում, սրտխառնոց և մարսողական խանգարումներ։

Բացի այդ, գերմանացի ալերգոլոգները նշում են, որ ավոկադոն համարվում է ուժեղ ալերգեն որոշ մարդկանց համար։ Այն կարող է առաջացնել մաշկային ցան, քոր, այտուցներ, իսկ հազվադեպ դեպքերում՝ շնչառական խնդիրներ։ Հատկապես զգուշավոր պետք է լինեն նրանք, ովքեր ունեն լատեքսի նկատմամբ ալերգիա, քանի որ ավոկադոն կարող է առաջացնել խաչաձև ալերգիկ ռեակցիա։

Մասնագետները նաև ուշադրություն են հրավիրում ավոկադոյի բարձր կալորիականության վրա։ Չափից ավելի օգտագործման դեպքում այն կարող է նպաստել քաշի ավելացմանը, հատկապես նստակյաց կենսակերպ վարող մարդկանց մոտ։

Գերմանացի բժիշկները խորհուրդ են տալիս ավոկադոն չընդգրկել երեխաների, հղիների և քրոնիկ հիվանդություններ ունեցող մարդկանց սննդակարգում առանց բժշկի խորհրդի։ Առողջ մարդկանց դեպքում ևս խորհուրդ է տրվում սահմանափակվել փոքր չափաբաժիններով և չդարձնել այն ամենօրյա սննդի պարտադիր բաղադրիչ։

Նույնիսկ «ամենաառողջ» համարվող մթերքը կարող է վտանգավոր լինել, եթե այն օգտագործվում է անխելամիտ կամ առանց անհատական առողջական վիճակը հաշվի առնելու։
