Այսօր առավոտյան Միացյալ Նահանգները զինված ագրեսիայի ակտ է իրականացրել Վենեսուելայի դեմ։ Սա խորապես մտահոգիչ է և դատապարտելի։ Այս մասին հայտարարություն է տարածել ՌԴ ԱԳՆ-ն։
«Նման գործողությունները արդարացնելու համար օգտագործվող պատրվակները անհիմն են։ Գաղափարախոսական թշնամանքը հաղթել է գործնական պրագմատիզմին և վստահության ու կանխատեսելիության վրա հիմնված հարաբերություններ կառուցելու պատրաստակամությանը։
Ստեղծված իրավիճակում, առաջին հերթին, կարևոր է կանխել հետագա սրացումը և կենտրոնանալ երկխոսության միջոցով ելք գտնելու վրա։ Մենք կարծում ենք, որ բոլոր գործընկերները, ովքեր կարող են դժգոհություններ ունենալ միմյանց նկատմամբ, պետք է խնդիրների լուծումները փնտրեն երկխոսության միջոցով։ Մենք պատրաստ ենք աջակցել նրանց այս հարցում։

Ռուսաստանի դեսպանատունը Կարակասում գործում է բնականոն հունով՝ հաշվի առնելով ստեղծված իրավիճակը, և մշտական կապի մեջ է Վենեսուելայի իշխանությունների և Վենեսուելայում գտնվող Ռուսաստանի քաղաքացիների հետ։ Այս պահին Ռուսաստանի քաղաքացիների վիրավորման մասին տեղեկություններ չկան»,-նշված է հայտարարության մեջ։
