TikTok-ը շատերի համար դարձել է ամենօրյա սովորություն․ մի քանի րոպե դիտելու մտադրությունը հաճախ վերածվում է ժամերի աննկատ «սքրոլի»` թերթլու։ Սակայն նյարդաբաններն ու հոգեբանները զգուշացնում են՝ կարճ ու արագ փոփոխվող տեսանյութերի անընդհատ դիտումը կարող է լուրջ ազդեցություն ունենալ ուղեղի աշխատանքի վրա։

Մասնագետների խոսքով՝ TikTok-ի ալգորիթմը կառուցված է այնպես, որ ուղեղը մշտապես ստանա արագ հաճույքի ազդակներ։ Ամեն տեսանյութը մի քանի վայրկյանում ակտիվացնում է դոֆամինի արտազատումը՝ ստեղծելով կախվածության նման մեխանիզմ։ Արդյունքում ուղեղը սովորում է արագ խթանների և դժվարությամբ է կենտրոնանում երկարատև գործողությունների վրա՝ կարդալ, սովորել, մտածել։

Հաճախակի թերթելը նաև կրճատում է ուշադրության տևողությունը։ Մարդիկ սկսում են դժվարությամբ լսել երկար խոսք, դիտել ֆիլմ կամ կարդալ հոդված մինչև վերջ։ Ուղեղը «վարժվում է» արագ փոխվող պատկերներին և կորցնում է խորքային մշակման ունակությունը։ Սա հատկապես նկատելի է դեռահասների և երիտասարդների շրջանում։

Բացի այդ, մասնագետները նշում են, որ TikTok-ի չափից շատ օգտագործումը կարող է նպաստել հոգնածության, անհանգստության և քնի խանգարումների առաջացմանը։ Գիշերային ժամերին թերթելը խանգարում է ուղեղի բնական հանգստին, իսկ տեղեկատվական գերծանրաբեռնվածությունը պահում է նյարդային համակարգը մշտական լարվածության մեջ։

Ամենավտանգավորն այն է, որ այս ազդեցությունները տեղի են ունենում աստիճանաբար և աննկատ։ Շատերը չեն կապում ցրվածությունը, հիշողության վատացումը կամ մշտական հոգնածությունը հենց սոցցանցերի հետ։ Սակայն մասնագետները զգուշացնում են՝ ուղեղը, ինչպես մկանները, ունի սահմաններ, և անընդհատ արագ խթանները կարող են երկարաժամկետ հետևանքներ ունենալ։
