TRIPP ընկերությունը հայ-ամերիկյան ընկերություն է, ոչ թե հայ-ամերիկյան և ինչ-որ այլ երկրյա: Այս առումով այլ երկրի մասնակցություն չի նախատեսվում, բայց եթե խոսում ենք TRIPP նախագծի օգուտների վերաբերյալ, իհարկե, օգուտ է քաղելու և՛ Ադրբեջանը, և՛ Թուրքիան, և՛ Վրաստանը, և՛ Իրանը, և՛ Ռուսաստանը, և՛ Միջին ասիական երկրները, և՛ Եվրոպական երկրները: Այս մասին Ազգային ժողովում, ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ ասել է ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Ռուբեն Ռուբինյանը:
Լրագրողը մեջբերել է դիվանագետ, Արտաքին գործերի նախկին նախարար Վարդան Օսկանյանի օրերս արված գրառումից մի հատված, որտեղ, ըստ Օսկանյանի, նախագծի ողջ նպատակն ու իմաստն Ադրբեջանին միջանցք տրամադրելն է: «Այս միջանցքը Հայաստանին, իսկ մեծ հաշվով նաև ԱՄՆ-ին, ոչինչ չի տալու։ Սրա մեջ միակ շահագրգռվածներն Ադրբեջանն ու Թուրքիան են։ Լավ, կարելի՞ էր գոնե նման գործարքին համաձայնելիս առնվազն 50+ տոկոս մասնաբաժին ստանալ։ 26%-ն այն ողորմելի կրճոնն է, որ կտային նույնիսկ բացարձակ համր բանակցողին»,-նշել էր Օսկանյանը:
Մեջբերմանն անդրադառնալով՝ Ռուբինյանն ասել է, որ ցանկացած կարդալ իմացող մարդ կարող է կարդալ հրապարակված փաստաթուղթը: Նա ընդգծել է, որ դա փաստաթուղթ է միջանցք չլինելու մասին, որը բաց փաստաթուղթ է, բոլորը կարող են կարդալ, և անհնար է այնտեղ միջանցք տեսնել:
Խոսելով Հայաստանի հասանելիք 26%-ի մասին՝ Ռուբինյանը նշել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն 74% է ունենալու, որովհետև ԱՄՆ-ն է ներդրումներ անելու: Նա ընդգծել է, որ տեսականորեն TRIPP-ը կարող էր 100%-ով ամերիկյան լինել, դրանից, ըստ ԱԺ փոխնախագահի, ՀՀ-ի ինքնիշխանությունը կամ իրավազորությունը որևէ կերպ չէր տուժելու:
