ԱՄՆ զորքերը դուրս են բերվել Իրաքից, բացառությամբ Իրաքյան Քրդստանի

ԱՄՆ-ն ավարտել է զորքերի դուրսբերումը Իրաքի օբյեկտներից, բացառությամբ Քրդստանի տարածաշրջանի՝ հաղորդում է CNN-ը՝ հղում անելով Իրաքի պաշտպանության նախարարությանը։
Գերատեսչության տվյալներով՝ ամերիկացի ռազմական խորհրդականների վերջին խումբը լքել է Իրաքի արևմտյան Անբար նահանգում գտնվող Այն ալ Ասադ ավիաբազան, որտեղ ամերիկյան զորքերը տեղակայված են ավելի քան երկու տասնամյակ։ ԱՄՆ-ի գլխավորած կոալիցիան, որը պայքարում էր «Իսլամական պետություն» խմբավորման դեմ, ռազմական օբյեկտները հանձնել է Իրաքի անվտանգության ուժերի լիակատար վերահսկողությանը։
Երկրում ամերիկյան ռազմական ներկայությունն այժմ պահպանվում է Իրաքյան Քրդստանի Էրբիլ նահանգի Ալ Հարիր ավիաբազայում, որի նկատմամբ կենտրոնական կառավարությունն ունի սահմանափակ վերահսկողություն։
Իրաքում ամերիկյան զորակազմի թվաքանակը 2003-ին այդ երկիր ներխուժումից ի վեր բազմիցս փոխվել է, առավել լարված շրջանում այն հասել է 170 հազար զինծառայողի: 2021 թվականի դեկտեմբերին, երբ ամերիկյան զինվորականները հայտարարեցին Իրաքում իրենց մարտական առաքելության ավարտի մասին, երկրում մնաց մոտ 2,5 հազար ամերիկացի զինծառայող, որոնք աջակցում Էին իրաքյան զորքերին։ 2023 թվականին Իրաքի կառավարությունը կոչ է արել ԱՄՆ-ին զորակազմը դուրս բերել երկրից:
