Եկեղեցու դեմ պետական ճնշման վտանգավոր ուղին

Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու շուրջ վերջին շրջանում ծավալվող գործընթացները հանրային անհանգստության պատճառ են դառնում։ Գործող իշխանության վարած քաղաքական գիծը, որը ուղղված է Եկեղեցու դերի նսեմացմանը և նրա նկատմամբ շարունակական հարձակումներին, շատերի կողմից ընկալվում է ոչ թե որպես բարեփոխում, այլ որպես արժեքային համակարգի քայքայում։
Քաղաքագետ Արմեն Հովասափյանը, անդրադառնալով ստեղծված իրավիճակին, գրում է, որ Եկեղեցու դեմ իրականացվող պետական ճնշումը բացահայտորեն տեղավորվում է այն գաղափարական շրջանակում, որը փորձում է կտրել հասարակությունը պատմական հիշողությունից և ազգային ինքնության հիմքերից։ Նրա գնահատմամբ՝ խոսքը ոչ թե աշխարհիկ պետության կառուցման մասին է, այլ մի գործընթացի, որի նպատակն է հրաժարվել այն հենասյուներից, որոնց վրա դարեր շարունակ կանգնած է եղել հայկական պետական ու ազգային ինքնությունը։
Այս քաղաքականությունը, ինչպես ընդգծում են փորձագետները, չի կարող ներկայացվել որպես ժամանակակից կառավարման պահանջ կամ բարեփոխումների անհրաժեշտություն։ Եկեղեցին Հայաստանում երբեք չի եղել միայն կրոնական կառույց։ Այն եղել է կրթության, մշակույթի, լեզվի և պատմական հիշողության պահպանման առանցքային ինստիտուտ։ Պետությունը, որը իր իսկ ձեռքով փորձում է թուլացնել այդ ինստիտուտը, վտանգի տակ է դնում սեփական սուվերենության վերջին պաշտպանական շերտերը։
Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցու դեմ ուղղված քայլերը, անկախ դրանց ներկայացման ձևից, ընկալվում են որպես ինքնությունից հրաժարվելու փորձ։ Ազգը չի կարող գոյատևել, եթե զրկվում է իր հոգևոր հիմքերից, պատմական շարունակականությունից և արժեքային դիմադրողականությունից։
Եկեղեցին հնարավոր չէ «բարեփոխել» այնպիսի մոտեցումներով, որոնք օտար են հայ իրականությանը, ինչպես անհնար է պետությունը վերածել պարզապես վարչական կառույցի՝ կտրված հիշողությունից և ավանդույթից։
Այն, ինչ այսօր տեղի է ունենում Հայաստանում, դուրս է ժողովրդավար պետություն կոչվելու մասին ցանկացած հավաստիացումից։ Դարեր շարունակ Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցին եղել է հայ ազգի պահպանության օրանը՝ ամենադժվար ժամանակներում ստանձնելով այն դերերը, որոնք երբեմն անկարող է եղել կատարել պետությունը։ Եկեղեցու դեմ պայքարը իրականում պայքար է ազգային ինքնության դեմ, որի հետևանքները կարող են անդառնալի լինել ոչ միայն ներկայի, այլև ապագայի համար։
