Ռուս ուղղափառ եկեղեցական բարձր շրջանակներում աճում է մտահոգությունը Հայաստանի իշխանությունների կողմից Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու ներքին գործերին միջամտելու փորձերի կապակցությամբ։ Այդ մտահոգությունը արդեն ստացել է հրապարակային և պաշտոնական ձևակերպում, ինչը վկայում է խնդրի լրջության և միջազգային եկեղեցական արձագանքի մասին։

Մոսկվայում կայացած հանդիպման ընթացքում Մոսկվայի պատրիարքության արտաքին եկեղեցական կապերի բաժնի նախագահ, Վոլոկոլամսկի միտրոպոլիտ Անտոնը Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու Ռուսաստանի և Նոր Նախիջևանի թեմի առաջնորդ Եզրաս արքեպիսկոպոս Ներսիսյանի հետ քննարկել է տարածաշրջանում եկեղեցական կյանքի շուրջ ստեղծված իրավիճակը։ Մոսկվայի պատրիարքարանի տարածած պաշտոնական հաղորդագրության համաձայն՝ միտրոպոլիտ Անտոնը անընդունելի է համարել հավատացյալների շրջանում արհեստականորեն պառակտում հրահրելու ցանկացած փորձ՝ ընդգծելով, որ նման գործողությունները հակասում են եկեղեցական կանոնական կարգին և վտանգում են եկեղեցու միասնականությունը։

Հաղորդագրությունում շեշտվում է, որ եկեղեցու ներքին հարցերը պետք է լուծվեն բացառապես եկեղեցական շրջանակներում՝ առանց արտաքին, առավել ևս քաղաքական միջամտության։ Ռուս ուղղափառ եկեղեցու այս դիրքորոշումը փաստում է, որ Հայ առաքելական եկեղեցու շուրջ ընթացող զարգացումները դուրս են եկել ներքին դաշտից և արդեն անհանգստացնում են նաև քույր եկեղեցիներին։

Սա հերթական ազդակն է, որ իշխանության կողմից իրականացվող բարեփոխումների անվան տակ տարվող քաղաքականությունը ոչ միայն ներհասարակական լարվածություն է ստեղծում, այլև վտանգում է եկեղեցական համընդհանուր համերաշխությունը։

Եկեղեցական շրջանակներում ընդգծում են, որ նման միջամտությունները կարող են ունենալ անդառնալի հետևանքներ՝ խաթարելով հավատացյալների միասնությունն ու եկեղեցու դարավոր կարգը։
