Հունվարի 29-ին Բրյուսելում ՀՀ ԱԳ նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանի մասնակցությամբ կայացել է քննարկում Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովում:

Արարատ Միրզոյանը հանդես է եկել ելույթով, որին հաջորդել է պատգամավորների հետ հարցուպատասխան: Քննարկումը վարել է հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Դեյվիդ Մքալիսթերը, մասնակցել են քաղաքական խմբակցությունների մեծամասնության պատգամավորներ, այդ թվում՝ Հարավային Կովկասի երկրների հետ հարաբերությունների պատվիրակության ղեկավարը, «Եվրանեսթ» ԽՎ համանախագահը և Հայաստանի հարցերով զեկուցողը։ 

Արարատ Միրզոյանը ներկայացրել է այս ֆորմատով նախորդ հանդիպումից հետո տեղի ունեցած նշանակալի փոփոխությունները, հատկապես Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև խաղաղության հաստատումն ու զարգացումները:

Հանգամանալից անդրադարձ է կատարվել տարածաշրջանային հաղորդակցությունների ապաշրջափակման ուղղությամբ ձեռք բերված պայմանավորվածությունների կյանքի կոչմանն, առկա ձեռքբերումներին: Ընդգծվել է տրանսպորտային ու տնտեսական փոխկապակցվածության ներառական ցանցի ապահովման կարևորությունը:

Անդրադառնալով Հայաստանի՝ ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումների հավակնոտ օրակարգին՝ Արարատ Միրզոյանը նշել է. «Ընտրությունը կայանում է ինքնիշխան ժողովրդավարության կամ հնազանդության տանող ավտորիտար ուղու միջև, և մենք արդեն կատարել ենք մեր ընտրությունը»:

Արարատ Միրզոյանը և Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի պատգամավորները մտքեր են փոխանակել ՀՀ-ԵՄ հարաբերությունների խորացման հեռանկարների շուրջ՝ ընդգծելով գործընկերության ռազմավարական օրակարգի կյանքի կոչման հարցում առկա ընդգծված պատրաստակամությունը։

Նախարար Միրզոյանը պատասխանել է միջազգային, տարածաշրջանային զարգացումներին, խառնածին սպառնալիքներին և դրանց արդյունավետ հակազդման ուղղությամբ գործադրվող ջանքերին առնչվող հարցերի։ Պատգամավորները բարձր են գնահատել խաղաղության օրակարգի, ինչպես նաև ժողովրդավարական բարեփոխումների առաջմղման գործում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ցուցաբերած հանձնառությունն ու դերակատարումը։

ՀՀ արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը երախտագիտություն է հայտնել Հայաստանի համար առանցքային հարցերում Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի կողմից ցուցաբերված հետևողական աջակցության համար:
