Բուլղարիայում հունվարի 31-ի կեսգիշերին ավարտվեց մեկամսյա անցումային շրջանը, որի ընթացքում եվրոն և լևը միաժամանակ շրջանառվում էին, հայտնում է «Ազատություն» ռադիոկայանի բուլղարական ծառայությունը։

Փետրվարի 1-ից վաճառողները պարտավոր են չընդունել վճարումներ լևով և պետք է մնացորդը վերադարձնեն միայն եվրոյով։

Բուլղարիան դարձել է եվրագոտու անդամ 2026 թվականի հունվարի 1-ին՝ Եվրոպական միությանը միանալուց 18 տարի անց։ ԵՄ-ին անդամակցության պայմաններից մեկը հենց եվրոյի ընդունումն էր՝ նախատեսված 2007 թվականի պայմանագրով։ Հունիսի 4-ին Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովը և Եվրոպական կենտրոնական բանկը հրապարակել էին իրենց կոնվերգենցիայի զեկույցները՝ հայտարարելով երկրի պատրաստակամության մասին։

Եվրոյի ներդրման մասին օրենքը նախատեսում է, որ մանրածախ ցանցում գները մինչև օգոստոսի 8-ը կշարունակեն արտացոլվել թե՛ եվրոյով, թե՛ լևով։ Այս միջոցառումը նպատակ ունի ապահովել թափանցիկություն և կանխել սպեկուլյատիվ պրակտիկաները, նշել է երկրի ֆինանսների նախարարությունը։

Չնայած օրենքը արգելում է վաճառողներին և ծառայություններ մատուցողներին բարձրացնել գները եվրագոտուն միանալուց հետո առաջին վեց ամսվա ընթացքում, սակայն ստացվել են հարյուրավոր հաղորդումներ դրա խախտումների մասին։

Լևով կանխիկ գումար ունեցող մարդիկ կարող են դրանք անվճար փոխանակել առևտրային բանկերում և Բուլղարիայի փոստային բաժանմունքներում մինչև հունիսի 30-ը։ Դրանից հետո բանկերը կարող են գանձել միջնորդավճար, սակայն Բուլղարիայի ազգային բանկը կշարունակի անվճար և անժամկետ փոխանակել լևերը եվրոյի։
