ԱՄՆ փոխնախագահ Վենսի այցը հասարակության շրջանում սպասումներ է առաջացրել գերիների, ռազմագերիների և անհետ կորած անձանց թեման ակտիվացնելու և խնդիրը Հայաստան-Ադրբեջան գործընթացքում քննարկման առարկա դարձնելու համատեքստում: Այս մասին ԱԺում հայտարարել է «Պատիվ ունեմ» խմբակցույան պատգամավոր Տիգրան Աբրահամյանը։

«Թեպետ Հայաստանում, մեր հասարակություն շրջանում քիչ չեն տարբեր քաղաքական, հասարակական միավորները, կամ պարզապես ակտիվ նախաձեռնություններն ու խմբերը, որոնք 44-օրյա պատերազմին, դրան հաջորդող ժամանակահատվածում, 2023 թվականի ադրբեջանական ագրեսիայի և արցախցիների նկատմամբ ցեղասպանությունից հետո հարցը մշտապես բարձրաձայնել են՝ ակցիաներից, տարբեր ձևաչափով քննարկումներից մինչև միջազգային ատյաններ, սակայն այդ թոհուբոհի որպես կանոն բացակայում է պետությունը: Մի բան է, երբ թեման օրակարգ բարձրացնում և միջազգայնացնում է պետությունը՝ իր ինստիտուտների և միջազգային համագործակցության հարթակներն օգտագործելով, լրիվ այլ բան, երբ դա անում են մյուս բոլոր ուժերը: Ադրբեջանը հայ գերիների ու անհետ կորածների չափազանց զգայուն հարցն օգտագործում է՝ տարբեր երկրներին ծառայություններ մատուցելու և իր հավատարմությունը հայտնելու նպատակով:

ԱՄՆ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյայի այցը տարածաշրջան  կարող է որոշակի պրոցեսներ արագացնել՝ թեման հումանիտար տեսանկյունից քննարկելու և խաղաղության լույսի ներքո հանգուցալուծման տանելու առումով: Ցավալիորեն այսպիսի կարևոր և հրատապ թեմայի շուրջ ակնկալիքներն ու քննարկումները բացառապես պայմանավորված են այս կամ այն երկրի շահերի, իմիջային հարցերի կամ քմահաճույքների հետ, իսկ թեմայի հիմնական շահառուն՝ գործող ռեժիմը, թեև որոշակի պարբերականությամբ երկչոտ, անորոշ, իսկ երբեմն՝ ադրբեջանահաճո տեքստեր է հնչեցնում, սակայն թեման առաջին պլան ակնհայտորեն չի բերում: Ադրբեջանն օգտագործում է Բաքվի բանտերում գտնվող հայերի թեման՝ Հայաստանին ագրեսորի, օկուպանտի և հանցագործի կարգավիճակի մղելու համար ու սա արվում է գործողների անթույլատրելի լռության և անտարբերության պայմաններում: Ադրբեջանական տարբեր ագրեսիաների հետևանքով անհետ կորած անձանց ճակատագրի պարզումն ու հայրենադարձումը նորմալ կառավարությունների, գործիչների համար պետք է լիներ պատվի ու արժանապատվության հարց, սակայն նրանց հարազատներն այս դռնից այն դուռն են գնում, դրանք հերթով թակում, սակայն խնդիրը մնում է խիստ անորոշ: Մարդիկ, ովքեր հայրենիքի համար ծանրագույն փուլում մարտի են նետվել, պետության համար պետք է ունենան բարձրագույն կարգավիճակ, իսկ նրանց զոհվելու կամ անհետ կորելու հանգամանքը մշտապես պետք է լինի օրակարգի առանցքում»:
