Այսօր՝ Մեծ Պահքի նախընթաց երեքշաբթի օրը, նշվում է Սրբոց Ղևոնդյանց քահանայից տոնը։ Մայր Եկեղեցին այսօր ավանդաբար նշում է որպես քահանայաց դասի տոն։ Այսօր Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում մատուցվեց Սուրբ և Անմահ Պատարագ՝ ձեռամբ  Մասյացոտնի թեմի հոգևոր սպասավոր Տեր Եզնիկ քահանա Մարդիրյանի։

Տեր Հայրն իր քարոզում ընդգծեց՝ չնայած տոնի բերկրալի խորհրդին՝ մեր սրտերը ծանրացած են. «Ալեկոծության մեջ է մեր առագաստը, բայց վախը չի պատել մեզ»։

Ճնշումները եկեղեցու ու եկեղեցականների հանդեպ նույնն են, ժամանակաշրջաններն են տարբեր։ Տեր Եզնիկը վստահ է՝  նպատակը մեկն է ՝ ջլատել ժողովրդի ինքնությունը, սասանել եկեղեցականների հավատը, թուլացնել կամքը, սակայն Մայր Աթոռն ու հոգևորականներն անսասան են։

Սաղմոսավանքի հոգևոր հովիվ Տեր Փառեն քահանա Առաքելյանը նշում է՝ Ղևոնդյանց քահանաները փոխանցում են տոկուն մնալ։

Հոգևոր եղբայրներին, ովքեր չեն լքել տունն ու իրենց հոգևոր հորը՝ Տեր Հայրը կոչ է անում շատ աղոթել։

Տեր Փառենի խոսքով՝ Վեհափառը հայրաբարար է մոտենում բոլորին, բայց հայրը ոչ միայն սիրող է լինում, ոչ միայն ներող է լինում, այլև պատժող է լինում։

Ախթալայի և հարակից գյուղերի հոգևոր հովիվ Տեր Հեթում քահանա Թարվերդյանը նշում է՝ յուրաքանչյուր հոգևորական իր ծխում պատրաստ է զոհողությունների, Տեր Հայրը վստահ է՝ բոլոր մարտահրավերները կլուծվեն։

Մասյացոտնի թեմի առաջնորդական տեղապահ Տեր Ռուբեն Վարդապետ Զարգարյանն ընդգծում է՝ պետք է հետևել Ղևոնդյանց քահանաների օրինակին՝ չճկվել հավատամքը փոխելու պարտադրանքի ու սպառնալիքների առջև։
