Սաուդյան Արաբիայի արտաքին քաղաքական գերատեսչության ղեկավար Ադել ալ Ջուբեյրը CNN հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցի շրջանակներում ասել է, որ սիրական հարցը քաղաքական ճանապարհով չլուծվելու դեպքում` Սիրիայի նախագահ Բաշար ալ Ասադը կարող է ուժով տապալվել:
«Ենթադրում եմ, որ Ասադն արդեն թուլացել է ու նրա հարցում ամեն ինչ որոշված է»,-մեջբերում է gazeta.ru-ն պաշտոնյային: Վերջինի խոսքերով, Ասադին չեն կարող փրկել ո՛չ իր կառավարական ուժերը, ո՛չ Իրաքն ու Իրանը, ո՛չ էլ Ռուսաստանը:
«Մարդ, ով պատասխանատու է սեփական երկրի կործանման համար, ապագա չունի այդ երկրում: Բաշար Ասադի հեռանալու հարցում ես կասկածներ չունեմ: Նա կա՛մ կհեռանա քաղաքական կարգավորման գործընթացի շրջանակներում, կա՛մ էլ կտապալվի ուժով: Սիրիայի ժողովուրդը նրան այլևս չի ընդունի որպես ղեկավար»,-հավելել է Ջուբեյրը:
