Խաղաղության խորհրդի անդամ պետությունները ավելի քան 5 միլիարդ դոլար են հատկացրել Գազայի հումանիտար օգնության ու վերականգնման համար և հազարավոր աշխատակիցների են ուղարկել Խաղաղության կենտրոն. Truth Social սոցիալական ցանցում հայտնել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը։
Ըստ նրա, Խաղաղության խորհուրդն անսահմանափակ ներուժ ունի։
«Անցյալ տարվա հոկտեմբերին ես հրապարակեցի Գազայում հակամարտության վերջնական դադարեցման պլանը, և ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհուրդը միաձայն հավանության արժանացրեց մեր տեսլականը: Դրանից կարճ ժամանակ անց մենք ռեկորդային արագությամբ հումանիտար օգնություն ցուցաբերեցինք և հասանք բոլոր ողջ ու մահացած պատանդների ազատ արձակմանը:
Ընդամենը անցյալ ամիս Շվեյցարիայի Դավոս քաղաքում երկու տասնյակ հարգարժան հիմնադիր անդամներ միացան ինձ՝ տոնելու կազմակերպության պաշտոնական ստեղծումը և ներկայացնելու համարձակ տեսլական Գազայի քաղաքացիական բնակչության, իսկ հետո, ի վերջո, նաև դրանից դուրս՝ ողջ աշխարհում ԽԱՂԱՂՈՒԹՅԱՆ համար:
2026 թվականի փետրվարի 19-ին Վաշինգտոնի Դոնալդ Թրամփի անվան խաղաղության ինստիտուտում Խաղաղության խորհրդի անդամները կրկին կմիանան ինձ, որտեղ մենք կհայտարարենք Միջազգային կայունացման ուժերի և Գազայում անվտանգության ու խաղաղության պահպանման տեղական ոստիկանության մասին»,- նշել է ԱՄՆ նախագահը:
Թրամփն ընդգծել է նաև պաղեստինյան ՀԱՄԱՍ խմբավորման՝ լիակատար և անհապաղ ապառազմականացման հանձնառության կարևորությունը։
«Խաղաղության խորհուրդը կդառնա պատմության մեջ ամենաազդեցիկ միջազգային մարմինը, և ինձ համար մեծ պատիվ է լինել դրա նախագահը»,- հավելել է նա:
