Հունաստան կատարած պետական այցի շրջանակում Հանրապետության նախագահ Վահագն Խաչատուրյանը հանդիպել է Հունաստանի խորհրդարանի նախագահ Նիկիտաս Կակլամանիսի հետ։

Հանդիպման սկզբում Հանրապետության նախագահը շնորհակալություն է հայտնել ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանի անկախացումից ի վեր երկու երկրների միջև հարաբերությունները դինամիկ զարգացում են ապրում՝ հիմնված պատմական բարեկամության և փոխադարձ վստահության վրա։

«Ուրախ եմ այսօր գտնվել Աթենքում՝ արևմտյան քաղաքակրթության և ժողովրդավարության բնօրրանում։ Մեր ժողովուրդների և երկրների բարեկամությունն ունի խորը պատմական արմատներ, որոնց վրա կառուցված է ներկայիս համագործակցությունը։ Հունաստանի և Հայաստանի խորհրդարաններում արդյունավետ գործում են բարեկամական խմբերը, որոնք իրենց նպաստն են բերում երկու երկրների գործակցության շարունակական զարգացմանը», -նշել է նախագահը։

Իր խոսքում Նիկիտաս Կակլամանիսը նշել է. 

«Այսօր մենք ուրախությամբ ընդունում ենք Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահին Հունաստանի խորհրդարանում։ Հունաստանն ու Հայաստանը կապված են պատմական, մշակութային դարավոր կապերով։ Մենք վերահաստատում ենք մեր աջակցությունը Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը։ Այստեղ է գտնվում Հունաստանի խորհրդարանի բարեկամական խմբի նախագահը։ Լավ առիթ կլինի քննարկելու ռազմավարական մի շարք հարցեր։

Ցանկանում եմ ընդգծել, որ բոլոր արդար պահանջները, որոնք ներկայացնում է Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունը, կարժանանան Հունաստանի կողմից սատարման։ Ուզում եմ ընդգծել նաև հայ համայնքի դերը, որը կարևոր նշանակություն ունի։ Մեծարգո նախագահ, հարգելի գործընկերներ, ևս մեկ անգամ ողջունում եմ ձեզ»։

Հանդիպման ընթացքում կողմերը հանգամանորեն քննարկել են խորհրդարանական դիվանագիտության զարգացման և խորացման հնարավորությունները։ Կարևորվել է երկու երկրների խորհրդարաններում գործող բարեկամական խմբերի ակտիվ գործունեությունը՝ որպես միջպետական հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման կարևոր գործիք։ Նշվել է փորձի փոխանակման, օրենսդրական գործընթացներում համագործակցության, ժողովրդավարական ինստիտուտների զարգացման ուղղությամբ համատեղ նախաձեռնությունների իրականացման կարևորությունը։

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել նաև միջազգային հարթակներում փոխգործակցության ընդլայնմանը, փոխայցելությունների ակտիվացմանն ու ռազմավարական նշանակություն ունեցող հարցերի շուրջ երկխոսության շարունակականությանը՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանի և Հունաստանի խորհրդարանների միջև համագործակցությունը կարևոր դեր ունի երկկողմ հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացման գործում։
