ԱՄՆ նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ առաջիկա 10 օրվա ընթացքում կարող է պարզ դառնալ՝ արդյոք Վաշինգտոնն ու Թեհրանը կարո՞ղ են համաձայնության գալ Իրանի միջուկային ծրագրի վերաբերյալ։
ԱՄՆ նախաձեռնությամբ ստեղծված Խաղաղության խորհրդի առաջին նիստում ելույթ ունենալով Վաշինգտոնում՝ ամերիկացի առաջնորդը շեշտել է, որ Մերձավոր Արևելքում իրավիճակը մնում է բարդ։ «Մերձավոր Արևելքում չհաջողվեց խաղաղություն հաստատել։ Այժմ գուցե հաջողվի մեկ քայլ առաջ անել, կամ գուցե չհաջողվի»,- ասել է նա։
Անդրադառնալով Իրանի հետ բանակցությունների թեմային՝ Թրամփը հավելել է. «Գուցե մենք գործարք կնքենք։ Դուք, հավանաբար, կիմանաք առաջիկա 10 օրվա ընթացքում»։
Թրամփը հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն ու Իրանը «լավ բանակցություններ» են վարում, սակայն համաձայնության հասնելը մնում է դժվար խնդիր. «Ինչպես գիտեք, լավ բանակցություններ են ընթանում: Տարիների ընթացքում ապացուցվել է, որ Իրանի հետ նշանակալից համաձայնագրի հասնելը հեշտ չէ: Մենք պետք է նշանակալից համաձայնագիր կնքենք, հակառակ դեպքում վատ բաներ կպատահեն»,- ասել է ամերիկացի առաջնորդը՝ ելույթ ունենալով Վաշինգտոնում անցկացվող Խաղաղության խորհրդի առաջին գագաթնաժողովում:
Ըստ ամերիկացի առաջնորդի՝ Վաշինգտոնը թույլ չի տա, որ Իրանը միջուկային զենք ձեռք բերի: «Մենք Իրանի հետ որոշակի անելիք ունենք: Նրանք չեն կարող միջուկային զենք ունենալ: Ամեն ինչ պարզից էլ պարզ էԱնհնար է Մերձավոր Արևելքում խաղաղություն հաստատել, եթե նրանք միջուկային մարտագլխիկ ունեն»,- հավելել է նա:
